well. that's the end of it. victoria stuffed the love she carries beneath her ribs, and repeatedly swallowing them down every time cassie looked at her.

thinking about yolanda relishing in victoria's drawn out keens and bit-off moans. she immerses herself in their fucking—this can't be love-making; how unfortunate that this little sprite's first time isn't out of love—and tries to escape the memory of trinity's hardened gaze and how she pulls away.

trinity shares so much of herself to those she loves, overextending herself until she's all hollowed—and even then, she gives more to the point of over-pouring, always looking out for others in the only way she knows how: by being a self-sacrificing lamb—and yolanda never really realized how much trinity spoiled her until trinity's shut her out of her life.

it wasn't even the sex that she misses, just trinity's voice, the way it curls into itself as she laughs; and her warmth, how her skin is always too hot to the touch. she misses the smell of her home, the taste of her perfume. she misses—

trinity always gives the best of herself to everyone, but losing even the worst of her was a loss that yolanda never thought she'll get.

flirting with victoria was purposeful; an act of vengeance for trinity's abandonment. she expected the little fawn to skitter away, to duck behind mckay's shadow, but victoria bit back, inching close, even closer, until all yolanda could see are the chocolates of her eyes.

she half-expected victoria to still be a virgin when she took her home, but the admission still surprised her. victoria's a beautiful girl, a smart one at that. she's got fans in the building, a line of wannabe suitors that are just too afraid to go after shamsi's beloved heir. and if not them, then she thought that mckay would've at least staked her claim. what with how much she's been hovering around the poor girl, yolanda was expecting mckay to chew her out for stalking too close to her beloved student.

but mckay had simply eyed yolanda, biting at a sneer with a sort of professionalism that yolanda doesn't bother with, and turns away. so imagine seeing all that only to hear from victoria that there's no way that mckay would be into her.

yolanda almost said something, breaking the facade, but victoria looked too beautiful in her bed and yolanda has always been a selfish person so she swallowed down what she knows, and washes it down with the taste of victoria's spill in her tongue.

victoria mewls, curling her fingers in yolanda's hair before pulling. trinity had been feisty, a biting thing, but she gave pain the way their pleasure ached for it. while victoria lashes out blindly, too focused in her own bliss, and dismisses yolanda without a second thought.

the difference between them rings out a muted throb of longing for what had been, only for it to be chased away by victoria's greed because victoria doesn't have to care for yolanda's pleasure—she didn't even care to begin with—and the dismissal scratches at something primal in yolanda.

the need to do good bursts in slow trickles and yolanda succumbs, doubling her efforts as her tongue strokes the inside of fever-hot folds, before sucking on them with a devastating hunger.

ON THE OTHER HAND, anytime yolanda's on a case with victoria, victoria's always mentioning how 'cassie taught me how to do this suture' or 'cassie would LOVE to hear about this case' always cassie cassie cassie cassie. and every single time victoria mentions her, yolanda's muscles tense and her jaw tightens. once, victoria describes how she's pretty sure cassie's the strongest woman in the department, how cassie would probably be able to lift her or something, and victoria swears she hears yolanda growl (because yolanda is nothing if not competitive, ambitious, possessive, and eager to prove doubting minds wrong). yolanda thinks she's being subtle about her frustrations (she's not) and thinks victoria is doing it on accident (she's not)

can i be honest? bluntvadi is so important to me right now that i can't genuinely stop myself from thinking about garcia picking on her because, yk, she's mommy's darling girl, her golden child. shamsi can't even be bothered to take anyone as protege because she's too busy prepping her daughter to take on her mantle, and yolanda was intrigued at first—no child of shamsi would've survived this long if she didn't have teeth, so imagine her disappointment when she saw victoria who's too nice and too naive and too soft for surgery.

victoria isn't even worth another look so she snuffs that interest and moves on with her life. then, she hears it—

trinity meets yolanda's eyes and even with just that fraction of a second, yolanda's sure than trinity knows—yolanda is curious. and what an appetite her curiosity can have.

obvi, i post about them all the time. ragebaited x ragebaiter !! specifically, i'm an acquaintances -> friends -> weird friends-with-benefits, codependent something they can't name -> lovers when they figure out their shit truther. love the idea of them accidentally teasing each other into a relationship, especially if that dynamic stays the exact same while they're dating. there's something so buzzy about the idea of trinity getting surprised by victoria teasing her back, the two of them learning how to be in a real, functioning relationship together super awkwardly and not knowing how to be in the same space but also relying on each other far too much to know how to emotionally deal with all that. trinity pulling at victoria's metaphorical pigtails to get her attention because she doesn't know how to deal with her feelings. victoria ranting about trinity on her tiktok page because she, too, does not know how to deal with her feelings. victoria not knowing that they're flirting initially, vs. trinity not knowing that they've been on several dates after things get going, because they are both so awkward and bad at communication. adorbs

i wrote a whole thing on this, but the buzziness of victoria fucking yolanda to get back at her mom and yolanda knowing this and still fucking the 21-year-old med student is SOO everything to me. yolanda making exceptions for victoria and not understanding why, feeling frustrated with herself that victoria has somehow managed to get past all the defenses she's built up for herself. victoria going to yolanda for advice on how to be more detached from her patients, and yolanda not having the heart to tell victoria 1) that's the thing she likes the most about victoria but also 2) victoria is actively making that harder for her just by existing -- attempting to get over your mommy issues by fucking your mom's resident in a no-feelings-attached situationship but quickly realixing that 1) you cannot do no-feelings-attached because you have Way too many feelings 2) you accidentally fucked feelings into your mom's surgical resident ?? and broke her ?? making things weird between your mom and her resident (this happened to my good friend victoria javadi). the concept of yolanda standing up for victoria against eileen without totally understanding why she's doing it -- victoria getting mad because she thinks that yolanda is patronizing her when yolanda is just way too attached in all the wrong ways and doesn't know how to express it AHHHHH someone please write the fic for me

LET'S BE SO FOR REAL it works so well cassie feeling stuck in life at such a low point in season one, and that's exactly when victoria, wide-eyed and too eager, is introduced to her? cassie who has lived several lives at this point, and victoria who's never gotten to live her own life? the fact that they repeatedly choose each other, that their interactions are constantly mirroring each other, that not only does victoria learn from cassie but cassie also learns from victoria?? the i love you scene ??? straight from the canon, their dynamic is particularly interesting in how their experiences are particularly molded to challenge each other. and yes cassie needs to have a lot of guilt about all of this for it to work for me sorry. that being said, if this were canon, i fear the showrunners would ruin it, so it's probably best that the lesbians write this on ao3. thee age gap yuri ship of all time, perfection. also butchfemme mcvadi is everything and more.

also something i thought (foolishly) would get explored more in the canon. there's something so buzzy about emery, rigid and callous, who loves rules and certainties, clashing with samira, who's all flowing lines and emotional connections and bending the rules to make them work for you. certainty and ego meets fragility and flexibility. the respect that underlies their interactions. the fact that emery looks so amused when samira says, 'did i miss that day in med school' -- the fact that emery was so clearly turned on when samira managed to pull off that heart procedure IT'S ALL SO DELICIOUS !! forever mourning them

something so amusing to me about garcia verbally assaulting practically everyone, but asking trinity about her star sign lmao. the sexiest thing you can do is guide someone through a surgery? i guess? also the fact that yolanda will always have a scar from trinity literally dropping a scalpel on her foot -- can never forget the day they met. they're both whining dogs trying to hide their vulnerabilities by leaving first, by refusing to show their bellies before the other one does. potentially very sweet dynamic. that being said, if garcia does know about trinity's sh scars, that scene where she tells trinity to get therapy is weird and that makes things more complicated for me if that is the case. however, the idea of them both wanting more but keeping things under a guise of being casual because they're both scared of commitment is very excellent

SO EVERYTHING !! the scene where ellis said 'this isn't a conversation, this is a monologue, so shut up and listen' was easily the sexiest thing the pitt has ever shown on television. ellis is clearly a nerd, and i love the idea that she would feel comfortable around mel in a way that she wouldn't around anyone else. that mel would be careful and note the things she is comfortable with/uncomfortable with in a way that no one has cared for before. they are both #real lovers and i love that for them

so cutie !! joy having the worst day ever until the cute nurse drew her blood, and then her entire day turned around is sooo adorbs. i just know they would be so good to each other, that joy would be so gentle and supportive, while emma would (lovingly) force joy into social situations. very my melody X kuromi, grumpy X sunshine, sun X moon YOU GET IT. also a huge fan of the headcanon that joy says her veins are difficult just in case emma doesn't get one on the first try, so she doesn't feel bad about it -- joy, my tsundere angel i know what you are (a lesbian).

taylor has mentioned this as something she sees for mel and i like it a lot !! there is so little aro/ace representation, and i also love the idea that her story would revolve around her finding her sense of identity outside of being a caregiver, but also, outside of a partner. also the fact that she loves kids but doesn't want a partner is a reality for so many aro/ace people who often have to deal with people assuming they don't want families/hate kids/etc. and i'd love to see that on screen.

my babies !!! they just work SO well together, victoria's tendency to urgency vs. samira's constant patience. they would understand each other so deeply, but also be so frustrated by each other lmao. i think that's why they work so well as besties too -- two sides of the same coin have to meet at the edges. also they should kiss. Also it's probably just supriya and shabana being obsessed with each other, but in the very few scenes they have together they look at each other so lovingly, it always amuses me. like that's your coworker, why are your cheekbones that high? (it's because they're in Love of course)

first and foremost, surgyuri is the best ship name ever. Also i am DEEPLY obsessed with the idea that they've had a toxic situationship since med school that is all-consuming and they are destined for each other. ultra competitive, rivalry is just knowing someone too deeply, the utter horror of someone understanding you to your core and then wanting to fuck them about it -- CAN YOU TELL THAT THEY ARE EVERYTHING TO ME. love the idea that they are both the most adorable mushy couple on the face of the planet when they are on and horrifying to encounter when they are off. they make their relationship EVERYONE else's problem they are the least nonchalant exes ever. neither of them cares about drama unless the other is involved; then they are Way Too Involved. they get rotating med students involved, and it's AWFUL. beautiful to me

oh they are so buzzy to me. baran frustrated by the casual callousness of yolanda while yolanda resents the position of authority baran has over her. the idea of them being exes is sooo sexy to me, especially them never quite having gotten over each other. not only femme4femme but also dom4dom where they are constantly clawing at each other. i especially like this because in every other ship i see for baran, she's so reserved and particular, never quite letting her guard down and always keeping hold of the upper hand, but she doesn't get that with yolanda. the scene where baran actively shakes her head when yolanda insinuates that she's in the wrong for operating on the patient they couldn't ventilate or intubate is So Sexy for no reason. the EYE CONTACT HAUNTS ME. baran gets to bare her teeth and bite with yolanda, which is so delicious.
