SEOKJIN’S HOUSE Mafia!Jin Au

Seokjin has never known a time when his family was not in charge of the city’s hidden crime world, their brutal reign lasting generations. His is a life of privilege to be sure, but he knows all too well the heavy cost of the crown that is swiftly coming to lie upon his head. He is part of a new generation, living in a time where being deadly is no longer enough, where family is not always the people you are born to, and where loyalty - especially the kind earned through blood - is rewarded highest of all. 

CASPAR / Namjoon Head of Security / Head of Operations

Caspar is in charge not only of in-house security but is also head of any external operations concerning Seokjin. One of the longest-running security members after joining the house at barely 16, Caspar literally grew up with Seokjin, which may explain his extreme loyalty. 

Reporting directly to the Boss, Caspar handles all of Seokjin’s private and public affairs whilst appearing to all onlookers as ‘just another bodyguard’. Caspar is often taciturn but is generous with his time and experience when he feels its appreciated. Not one to be easily trifled with in a fight, Caspar’s deadliness should never be underestimated. Has killed twice privately for Seokjin.  

PALLAS / Taehyung Pointman Security Detail / Trainer

Second only to Caspar in time-served seniority and one of only two remaining members of the Greek line of guards, Pallas runs point on external operations concerning Seokjin, as well as helping Caspar with guard management and training. 

Thoughtful and considerate, Pallas is the voice of reason in any argument. A quiet killer, Pallas rarely talks. Has a not-so-quiet crush on Duchess. 

BALTHAZAR / Yoongi Doctor / Chemist  

The last of the original trio of protectors first assigned to Seokjin’s private detail - alongside Caspar and the (now deceased) Melchior - is Balthazar. After being wounded on the field several years ago, Balthazar now handles any and all medical issues that arise within the house, as well as experimenting with new chemical products for the Boss.

Wise but heavily sarcastic, many find Balthazar’s presence confusing, and at times abrasive. However, it’s rare to find Balthazar alone, despite his own complaints. Whilst he may have retired from the field, Balthazar still keeps his knives sharp, just in case. 

FRENCH / Hoseok Dept. Head Security Detail / Greaseman

Lyrical in his ability to read a room, French assists with security detail leadership, specialising in recon and especially complex tactical operations. Never uses his codename, Apollo, unless for personal gain. The only member of the house’s security hired from overseas, French blends into the crowd by standing out. Can talk his way into any room, any heart and any bed. Enjoys tennis. 

SWAY / Jimin Security Detail / Weapons

A 10th generation weapon-smith, Sway actually favours poisons over more blunt weaponry, but don’t let that confuse you into thinking he’s gentle. Sway enjoys his work, sometimes too much, and is often getting in trouble with Caspar on account of over exertion. Refused his codename, Leo, on personal grounds and has never elaborated on the matter. Extremely skilled in hand to hand combat, and near unbeatable with any weapon. Go on, pick one. 

GEMINI / Jungkook Security Detail / Rookie 

Impatient with eagerness, Gemini is from the third generation of the house’s security detail for Seokjin - the Zodiac line. Trained by Caspar and Pallas, Gemini is especially loyal to Caspar’s leadership, yet spends the majority of his time with French and Sway. Was particularly close with Capricorn, Seokjin’s last personal bodyguard, who left the house under suspicious circumstances. Once accidentally trapped Seokjin in a closet.      

MASTER / Seokjin Heir

Emotional and at times, reckless, Seokjin is still coming to terms with his position within the crime world. Whilst appearing to the public as a useless playboy, privately Seokjin works diligently to train for his inevitable ascension to position of Boss. Spars nearly daily with Caspar and Balthazar, and is the only one who has ever bested Pallas in a gunfight. Drinks too much, is a complete sucker for blondes.   

DUCHESS / Reader Seokjin’s Personal Bodyguard

Acts as Seokjin’s private bodyguard under the cover of being his girlfriend. Trained from a young age to work as a bodyguard, Duchess is an expert with knives, firearms and hand to hand combat. She has a speciality in thrown weapons, and was (unknowingly) hand-picked by Caspar. 

Code named personally by Seokjin (his first), Duchess’ name broke the previously established Zodiac line and created the Royal line within ongoing house history.
