We've seen Bruce + Ex wife, and Bruce + Ex husband
We've also seen Bryce + Ex goon ex husband (or goonband if you will)
But will be see Bryce + Ex wife, and if so what's her personality like? Is she similar to ex goon? A golden retriever ex wife?
Or would she be like Bruce's ex husband and be straight yet still marry Bryce?
RANDOM DISCLAIMER: Ex husband (as well as the other ex spouses) has no canon sexuality, but the lovely Anon here is referring to this and this posts I made a while back rambling how I think it would be funny if ex husband was straight.
For a Bryce + Ex wife, I have two different visions.
Vision #1: Pretty... Pretty Crazy
For this vision, I love imagining a ex goon ex wife that's preppy and who pretends to be stupid, when actuality she has a tight leash on Bryce.
Like the other exs, she is smart, smart enough to blackmail Bryce and push her buttons without anyone noticing.
She pretends to be a dumb bimbo in public, giggling and clinging to Bryce's side. Smiling at her wife as the paparazzi take pictures, only to smile wider when she sees Sylvester in the shadows, glaring daggers at her as she kisses Bryce's cheek. A silent challenge. A silent claim.
'She's mine, pussy cat.'
She pretends shes dumb in public to punish Bryce, forcing her to break her own public persona. Making her act more like Batwoman instead of the billionaire, playgirl BB Wayne.
She punishes Bryce because, like ex goon, shes obsessed with Bryce, but unlike ex goon, this woman does NOT tolerate Bryce cheating on her. Especially with some fucking furry and a homicidal prince of a cult.
"If you want to treat me like I'm blind and stupid to your whores, then I'll act like it, dear."
I've been too nice to the Exs, theyre too normal. Too sanitized in my opinion.
This version of ex wife isnt a goon, but a henchwoman. She didn't do illegal stuff because she was doesperate (well she was but that's not the point) she did it because she hated the upper class of Gotham, hated the court of owls, hated the Mafia bosses and drug lords and plotted to kill them all.
Mass murder style.
Before Bryce returned to Gotham, ex henchwoman was joining the organized crime syndicate of Gotham as a loyal henchwoman so that she could get close to them, learn their secrets, get them to trust her so that when they least expect it, she could kill them all in one foul swoop.
But Bryce returned, making her very happy. She use to view Bryce as the only "clean" elite of Gotham and became obsessed. She got more obsessed when she found out about Bryce's secret identity as Batwoman and decided to put a ring on it.
Besides, if she marries Bryce, she can get even closer to the elite of Gotham and make her grand plan easier to accomplish.
It was truly a win win for her.
Another difference is that, she disappears after Jasmine's death. She doesn't necessarily divorce Bryce, but she kinda just lets everyone think that she died and her body was never found.
Her baby died and when Bryce did not kill the joker, she lost every ounce of love and obsession she had for Bryce.
"You're truly a Gotham elite... I feel stupid for not noticing earlier..."
Bryce becomes yandere for her after she returns to Gotham and teams up with the new crime lord, Red Hood.
Vision #2: Match Energy
This version of Bryce's ex wife (ex Hench? I'll have to come up with a nickname) matches Bryce's energy. She doesn't care about Bryce, Bryce is just a means to an ex and doesn't care how heartless that is. This version of ex wife also cheats on Bryce openly.
She's Gotham's #1 enemy because she has no shame when it comes to kissing a model while at a gala (while Bryce is 5 feet away doing THE EXACT SAME THING).
She likes the kids, but she is not about to bend over backwards for them if it means destroying herself. She has destroyed herself enought to get where she is now, with a diamond ring on her scarred hands, she does not want to destroy herself anymore than she strictly has to. I think due to how she grew up, she is more cold than anything, and because of that the people in the manor want her to like them.
"You are choosing to do something stupid, if you survive I'll help patch you up. I expect you to come back alive."
I think this version of ex wife likes Tina (Tim) the most? Like, Tina isn't clingy and neither is ex wife, so they just sit near each other and exist around the other as they do their tasks. But don't be fooled, she does like them, she admires them even, however, she does not expect to be in their lives forever. She also doesn't think she will be that rememberable for them.
Bryce becomes obsessed with her overtime, wanting her to look at her. Wanting her wife to acknowledge her while they exist around the other.
I'll be honest, I havent thought about this version too much, but I like the idea that Bryce becomes gradually yandere for someone who doesn't care about her existence, who's very obviously using her.
