Thinking about this Irishima arc and I think one of the biggest things this story needs is a Mikaboshi POV at some point. Like if you think about historical genocides, there are almost always survivors somewhere for whatever reason and I'm curious what they think happened.

I mean like since it's Jump I understand if we never get that, but I think especially since we're working with a nuclear weapons metaphor, we need that POV eventually.

I would guess if we do get one, it'll be after the present timeline resumes in the story because it'd come from someone Chihiro has to meet first.

This would also fit with the theme of how Samura had to change and how he predicted that Akemura will have to change too. Chihiro also has to change because he only knows one side of the story.

But again, I know Jump editors and mangaka don't always give us what a story needs so I'm not going to hold my breath about it, but I do think never learning the Mikaboshi side of things is going to be a detriment to the story.

My family are mostly cunts, and the ones who aren't are smart enough not to get kidnapped by terrorists.

Putting that aside though, if my family was kidnapped and the kidnappers were threatening to hurt them my first reflex would not be to bomb the fucking building and kill every man woman and child inside it. I wouldn't go around killing random people and decimating everything in my path. If anything I would feel pity for the people who use violence as a scare tactic.

All of that not withstanding, I am lucky enough to live in a country where the government doesn't ask me to help kill people in other countries because they've learned that that never goes well for them, so the question would never apply to me anyway

If your saying that that Palestinian deserve their land back after it being taken away then the native Americans and all the other indigenous people deserve to get there land back but no that’s stupids thing you’ve ever read

The second one doesn’t make sense yet all I said was Palestine wasn’t even the traditional owner of that land there for if were giving it back to who it belongs they can give it back to the Egyptians

That’s not true because this is literally what caused the whole ‘conflict’ (I’m aware it’s been happening since the foundation of modern Israel). Hamas tried to commit a genocide on Israel on oct 7 2023. They held hostages for more than 2 years and now that they’re free there is a chase fire. (Ik the chase fire isn’t perfect but it’s better than nothing)

Hamas did not "try to commit a genocide". Hamas, a terrorist group, committed a terrorist attack on a bunch of israelis to send a message. Israel's GOVERNMENT's response was to decimate Gaza. Not using their infamous elite powers of organisation to seek out the actual terrorists and kill them, no, to kill everything and everyone in their path until they eventually hopefully got to the terrorists.

It's like if we had been in a slapping war, and I slapped you extra hard, so you took out a gun, shot me in the face and put me in a blender. It is behaviour typical of terrorists, but very unbecoming of a "civilised" government

Actually no need. What I see is a tiny strip of land at the edge of a country endorsed by all the global superpowers of the world in the process of being wiped off the face of the earth because a terrorist group slapped them in the face for stealing their land.

Now in a previous ask you asked why native americans didn't do the same thing, or aboriginal tribes in australia. Because their people's have already been through what palestine is going through now, and they are still to this day being persecuted for no valid reason by the "governments" that have stolen their land.
