what do you want to be done with your body after your death?
cremation; ashes kept by friends / family
cremation; ashes scattered
burial in cemetery/graveyard
burial elsewhere
organ / body donation to science
other.....................? (elaborate below on what you'd like done!)
The trans day of mourning "you have to live" stuff is kind of bittersweet when you have a lot of disabled transgender friends. Because not everyone gets to, even if they're doing their best, and thats okay too. You'll be missed and remembered for your life and the joy you've brought into the world.
I know the "you have to live" is about suicide but I've got a trans friend going on hospice soon and it makes things particularly bittersweet this year.
Can I ask y'all a favor?
If I suddenly disappear and don't respond within ten days, please send a message on my Discord or here or on my main (if you need my Discord, DM me). If I don't respond THEN in three days, assume that something had happened to me.
If I feel I need to take a break, I usually have a hiatus notice with a timeframe. So if I suddenly vanish without a hiatus notice, please message me.
TW: death talk and... ugh, I hate to talk about this, but politics, hospitalization mention
Hello!!!
This might be an odd question, and feel free not to answer it, but since you are a devotee of both Norse and Greek gods, what do you believe happens when we pass on? It’s totally fine if you don’t want to answer, but I’ve been very confused about this question myself as I am a devotee of both beliefs as well. Thank you!!
Khaire!
So, the most important thing to say here is that no one can say - with absolute certainty - what happens after death because, well, none of us are dead yet (imo, this includes near-death experiences for a variety of reasons, but I'm not gonna go into that rn, since it's not relevant lol). I say this to also say that I could be VERY wrong! I don't know everything, and my personal thoughts on what happens after death are just that: my personal thoughts.
In my opinion, I don't believe there is just one afterlife. I personally feel that there are multiple places that a soul - or essence - can go after passing on. I also consider myself to be somewhat of an Omnist, meaning that I believe there is some truth to most religions/spiritualities (although I do have some exceptions lol). I believe that most ancient pantheons are real, including the afterlives that come with them.
All of this is to say that I don't think any one specific thing happens when we die. I don't necessarily know where we go, but I believe that, if we manage to pass through whatever forms of judgement our souls go through or whatnot, then we may be given a choice as to where we spend our afterlives most of the time, though I think we aren't just limited to the one place forever and ever, if we don't want to be. I don't know how true or untrue my line of thinking is; it's just what makes the most sense to me for those of us who worship several pantheons at once. I also have some thoughts on where I think the souls of those who aren't religious go; I do believe there exists places for them as well. c:
I don't think we're just...separated from each other entirely, especially if our religions differ from our loved ones. I think that would be an incredibly cruel afterlife, honestly. Maybe we can visit other afterlives, or perhaps we remain connected to other souls in some vast web of consciousness; who the hell knows lol. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ All I can say is that I don't believe we will just be forced to choose between pantheons and afterlives, and not allowed to even visit other places, at the very least.
I think that whatever happens after death is something far beyond our human understanding of the world. While I've given my very simplified version of what I think might happen after death, it's certainly not all I think there is to it. I think that the afterlife is an incredibly complex thing, and there is likely a reason that we, as living humans, don't know the intricate details of it. Perhaps it would be too complex for us to understand. Perhaps some people would use the knowledge for personal gain. Who knows, really.
So yeah, I don't think this was the answer you might've expected from me, but this is the most simplified version of my thoughts. If I'm being honest, the way I view death and the afterlife is, like...really convoluted and difficult to explain. It's also heavily rooted in personal experiences and biases that would be difficult to share in a text post. There could be some element of choice when it comes to the afterlife. I also think that it won't be nearly as simple as going over "there" or over "here", you know? I think it's more complex than that.
I hope you enjoyed hearing my thoughts on this ten thousand years later than when you asked this question originally. Take care, Nonny! 🧡
You know I truly don’t think Rocky would not understand the concept of death. It’s a tragic and very whumpy concept but Rocky does know what death is, he’s been coming to terms with the reality of death for at least forty-odd years. He knows it’s not the same as sleeping, he’d have access to all of humanity’s research and history and data
My point is he’d perhaps be too familiar with what death means for a human

Starting to strengthen my impression that Magatsumi is a kodoku blade. What I'm curious about now is if my other theory that Enchanted Blades need a sacrifice to finish the process will be correct and if that is correct, does the person who spilled blood on the blade affects its sorcery. That I think might become more clear if we learn Kunishige's type of sorcery if he has any since he's the person who bled out when Enten was created.
I always suspected that what started the war was possibly an aggression from the protagonist's side, and so seeing islander pretty boy's head go fwip at the end there aligns with that, although I'm curious who's casting that sorcery. Also good to know that they had some sort of tribunal about it. It'd be weird if the Seitei War was anything but a mess from start to finish.
I am still curious what changed Chiaki's vision and why there were two visions of the same event. We'll probably gain that insight as we learn more about her sorcery later hopefully.
