I just hit 80 pounds down.
Time to hit the treadmill for some treadmill time before I wake up too much and discover other things.
Holy shit holy shit holy shit
Not straight tho ~ š
It was SO HOT again today- 97 degrees but felt like 104 when I started my run so I went nice and slow and didnāt rush anything because I always feel like shit if I run faster than like 10:20 pace when itās this hot! I also have been trying to get a little walk in in the mornings before work and sometimes around lunchtime. Once weāre back in the office Iām gonna try to keep it up because I donāt have a window and I need some sunlight. Anyway!! Letās hope Iām back to my longer runs and longer distance weeks soon! Also I did a little lift! Peloton lift classes are no joke!
In baggier clothes. Here is from the beginning of my journey until today.Ā
Getting there. 1 and a half stone down.Ā
For everyone out there on their own journey, may it be to loose weight, get fitter, put on weight, gain muscle mass etc. I will be honest. There are times when doubt will creep in, you will believe that you have and are achieving nothing with what you are doing and that your body will never change. This is a lie. If you are putting in the work to better yourself the first change has already been made, your mental attitude towards your goals are just as important as the actual results themselves. I'm saying this for all as personally, this occurs with me more than I will ever admit. Looking in the mirror and seeing that not much has changed despite my hard work hurts. It makes you feel physically exhausted and it truly hurts your confidence, self-esteem and how you view yourself. You begin to think of all the times you've let loose or strayed from your healthy lifestyle and it becomes a self destructive cycle. I want every single one of you to listen to these words. You are getting somewhere. You may not see it, but you are. Slowly you are achieving your results so whenever your mind begins to tell you otherwise I want you to tell it to shut the bloody hell up because it is deceiving you. If anyone feels like this right at this moment, or ever has and wants someone to speak to, give us a message, I guarantee you a reply will come and myself and jax will always be there to help give advice or just to talk. Don't ever loose hope. Keep fighting. Till next time m'dears -Kirsty
My friend who I hadnāt seen since like March commented that I looked toned and in really good shape and he noticed a difference since he saw me a few months ago! I donāt weigh myself and I donāt really have like any photos that I would compare it to. Itās nice to know I look like I look a bit fitter to people who havenāt seen me in a few months. I donāt count calories/ macros or really restrict my eating at all. Itās honestly just all been running and getting outside and walking on top of running everyday. I feel like Iām kind of plateauing with speed and getting slower but .... itās probably just the heat and maybe I really am doing this thing right!

Another successful day!
Edit: "My GF said I was getting skinnier!"
With food- check!
With exercise- check!
I went to the gym! Wore my mask the whole time to get in a nice little workout. 30 min walk with my girl after work. Then the gym. 10 min rowing, 10 minutes arm bike. Then 1 set of abs on the ab coaster, each direction. 3 set of 15 each leg on the glute machine, 25 pounds. 3 sets of 15 on the hip adductor (inner thigh). 1 set each of assisted chin ups and dips- 10 rep. 3 sets of 15 for from pull downs 30 pounds.
Progress over the past two months.Ā
It's not huge but it is happening. There's very little difference between months 1 and 2 but every little helps! I will beat this.Ā
