Weightloss Journey 2.0
So, last July I started working out every day with a coworker. Each month I could worker out longer and more efficiently. I started watching what I ate and even added in a morning run in addition to my 30mins of strength training at lunch. I started to feel amazing and people were starting to notice my slimming down. I was motivated and healthy in the way I was tackling my weightloss. Now at the end of November my coworker was fired. While I had established a long track record of eating right and working out, without her there to help motivate me I slowly let myself slip back into some unhealthy habits. Eventually I stopped working out, and then my eating habits got out of whack. I've struggled with an eating disorder since high school and I found myself fixing my lack of exercise with extreme calorie restrictions to keep my weight off. Now I've been having the same struggles of extreme restrictions and binges that got my weight to the point I was originally when I first tried to get healthy. Now where I'd normally beat myself up and give up all together at this point instead I have chosen to start jumping back in and making my healthy habits stick again. Starting today I'm about to begin meal prepping and eating healthy. I've also begun day one of my PiYo workout program. So through food journaling and post workout posting I'm hoping to get back on course to creating a healthy life! So stayed tuned Tumblr cause this month marks the kick off to my healthy weightloss journey 2.0! Time to get healthy and back at it so I can live my life to the fullest!!
Whew I'm outta shape. I've been working on building good habits again with the fabulous app. Waking up drinking water first, listen to my daily coaching motivation, eat a good breakfast, exercise.
Man that first workout....was just for 5 minutes and I freaking finished it in 15. That was rough 😬 but hey that's why I'm doing all of this, to rebuild that machine inside of me.
Well time to tackle the rest of my Monday and get ready for work tonight.

6 pounds down!
Ladies and gentleman, I lost 6 pounds in three weeks. You know what this means? This means I am working out and watching my eating. This means that I am losing weight at a healthy and sustainable pace. This means I am finding both willpower and patience to go to the gym on a regular basis and not freak out that I dont already have a bikini body. This means that this time, I'm gonna make it to my end goal!

I’ve had a bit of a bad week. It started okay with going over 900 followers no Monday. However by the middle of Monday night I was emptying my stomach and spent the whole of Tuesday in bed. That meant no Tuesday gym time. Wednesday was also a write off, I worked from home but felt awful. Back in the office Thursday for a very busy day but. I energy for the gym. Then the Friday and Saturday have been any gone and still not 100%. I think if I could run I would have tried a little one this morning, but couldn’t face digging the bike out and the prep needed. Ankles are not ideal so didn’t fancy another Zumba session! However not going to let one week set me back. Sorted out lunch for the first half of the week, couscous, falafels & grilled halloumi cheese.
