Casita from Encanto is a TARDIS

Hear me out here:

• Both materialize seemingly from nowhere

• Both are psychologically linked to it's inhabitants and can respond to their commands

• Both will do anything possible to protect it's inhabitants from harm

• Both have seemingly unlimited internal space with the outside not needing to change

• Both have the ability to create new rooms for the purposes of it's inhabitants

• Both are "living" enough that they can die/cease to be active

• Both can have it's essence be resurrected by repairing it's external structure

Obviously I know this will never be canon, but it's cool to think about

Thirteen/Amy/Rory fic update (pt. 50)

And here we finally have Thirteen's first fic! Welcome to her post-regeneration episode, this series' take on Ghost Monument, where we see Amy and Rory's perspective on their new wife, a glimpse into Thirteen's mind, a couple of hints at secrets to come (or rather, one big secret that Eleven should have told Amy and Rory a long time ago), and a focus on a bowtie and a wedding ring.

Ghost Monument

(Series 11, Episode 2)

Summary: The Doctor and her new best friends survive the last episode's cliff-hanger when they are scooped into two separate ships: the final two competitors in the Rally of the 12 Galaxies. They're looking for a ghost monument...turns out, so is the Doctor. Graham shows an appropriate amount of outrage at his treatment on his first alien planet and Ryan learns that real life isn't quite like Call of Duty. The Doctor still hates guns but is also still the cleverest person in the room.

Watch because: I don't think I realised how much I needed to see a female character on TV who is not only the cleverest person in the room (that's clearly happened before) but knows it, acts on it and is acknowledged as such by everyone else.
