(Heavy angst warning)

Illegal underground borrower fight club where kidnapped tinys are forced by evil humans to fight each other. The humans place bets on which tiny will win and the human “owners” train the borrowers they guy or kidnap to be better at fighting.

The new fighting borrowers are thrusted into fights suddenly and often don’t survive. Sometimes new ones refuse to hurt their own kind and loose as a result. The more experienced fighting borrowers fight more and more and eventually become desensitized to the violence and start to “enjoy” the fights and winning them, along with the praise they get by their human captors.

Eventually, through outside borrowers or good humans, or both, the fight club is shut down and the fighting borrowers are saved and don’t have to fight anymore, but the experienced ones who became used to the fighting struggle to adjust to life outside, and need help from other humans and borrowers to move on.

As much as I love fluff in gt and the giant always being worried sick about the tiny, even if they are fine, I gotta LOVE myself an idiot giant and a smart tiny, ESPECIALLY if the giant is just a normal human who is stuck with a borrower of some kind.

The tiny, back home, standing amongst a whole bunch of pop tarts and nothing else from the shopping list: this was NOT on the shopping list!

Giant: but they're SO much easier to make than a whole meal!

Tiny: Even I can cook and I barely had a stove before meeting you!

Tiny: hey, can I have some ice cream?

Giant: sure, it's in the fridge

Tiny: are you SERIOUSLY using me as a pocket calculator for a question THAT simple?

Interviewer: why should we hire you?

Tiny, giving advice from the giant's pocket: endurance and confidence

Giant: insurance and the cornfield's dense

Tiny: *facepalms*

Giant: I'm not that forgetful and pay TONS of attention to little details

Tiny: then tell me, what's my eye color?

Giant: ...what?

Tiny: what's my eye color?

Giant: ... blue?

Tiny: yes, it's blue

Giant, sighing in relief: yeah, I knew that

Tiny: it's GREEN! We've been living together for two years now and you don't know my eye color is GREEN?!

Oh, how great it is that I have two OCs which are exactly just THAT relationship.

Idea for later, but long ass prompt coming up

Two siblings grow up together in a giant hunting creed. They're trained and conditioned from childhood to hunt down and kill giants, not given any other choice. Giant hunting is all they know, the pain of training physically everyday, the horror of giants told to them in stories by the leaders of the creed, telling them why they must hate and kill these massive beings.

One day, they grow up and officially become giants hunters. The older one goes on to become an infamous giant slayer, killing the most powerful and strongest of giants in the land. The younger one is more hesitant and frightful thanks to the stories told to them, and they never end up killing one. Frustrated with him, the creed sends him to kill a giant by himself, telling him he will succeed, and slay the beast, fail, and perish, or refuse to slay it, and be abandoned by the creed and everything they've ever known. (Or killed by the creed, if you wanna make them really evil)

So after weeks of the younger sibling not returning, the creed decides to send the older giant slayer to the giant their sibling was sent to. The sibling goes there, believing their kin to be dead at the giants hands, ready to get revenge...

Only for their sibling to still be alive. Instead of killing them, the giant took pity on how the younger one was raised and took care of them itself, being the first person to show the younger sibling genuine compassion. The older sibling, however, is confused by this, and refuses to accept it. They attack the giant, causing the younger sibling to fight back. And they get into a fight, and they yell at each other, and there's so much angst, and eventually they understand each other and GOD I NEED TO MAKE THIS

I've been reading this old GT book from like 1947, and I've developed severe "borrowers are the descendents of kidnapped lilliputians from Gullivers travels" brain rot

Since he is a size shifter,

Olympe’s necklace is a a lariat when he’s a small human, but a choker when he’s a giant mermaid:

It’s a cute little choker necklace made up of seashells, pearls, starfish and found objects!

@smolcomfycat he tends to keep it tucked away in his shirt. But because the seashells rattle around in there, you can hear him coming (it’s like quiet musical jingling as they jostle around!) it’s a piece of his past identity as a mermaid that he carries around with him.

Alright, so we have hybrid borrowers, right?

Like borrowers with mouse tails and ears?

Imagine how hilarious it'd be if the human was allergic to mice and whenever they try to catch the borrower they just start sneezing uncontrollably and in the end just have to lie down to be miserable on the couch.

Or imagine a g/t couple with a borrower that has mouse traits but their significant other is allergic to mice and it's just: "babe. Babe, please, just take your meds so I can cuddle with you."
