So when people talk about eating me you get a craving for ginger nuts? I am not ginger at least not anymore.

Thank you for answering my ginger nuts question, Sherlock! This dessert doesn't exist in my country and I don't have an oven, but now I have a general idea. We only use ginger in savoury dishes, so it feels strange to me to have the the flavour in a dessert.

Flavours vary significantly across cultures. Take, for instance, the Italian disdain for pineapple on pizza—an abomination to some, yet embraced by millions daily. Similarly, some find it perfectly natural to incorporate ginger into their desserts, though others might raise an eyebrow. It is simply a matter of taste.

I must say, I side with the Italians on that matter. (@angelosrestaurant )
