@gingerpilotweek Day 2: Soul Mates! Based on the Chinese mythology of The Red Thread of Fate! Soul mates are connected by a red thread that pulls them closer and closer together. Poe noticed and wanted to rush things along.

I did make a version with a background but it says the file size is too big to upload or something and I’m not tech savvy so this is what I’ve got. Also I haven't animated in like a year and this was also my first time animating in Photoshop! lol

This is for @gingerpilotweek 2020, day 6: Alternate Universe. It’s more like slight AU/canon divergence/what I wanted to see happen right after “I’m the spy!” And then Poe took Hux with them, of course, and everyone lived happily ever after.

(I feel like Chewie looks naked without his bandolier, but he wasn’t wearing it in that scene... looks so wrong though, lol)

Gingerpilot Week Themes

Day 1: HOMEWORLD-- July 11

Time to let the boys’ homeworlds shine! Whether we’re taking a trip to Yavin 4 or Arkanis, this day is all about exploring where they came from—and who they might meet upon returning with their beau.

Day 2: SOULMATES-- July 12 

What if Poe and Hux were destined from birth to be together? Two halves of a whole, inescapably intertwined? Whether it’s tooth-rotting fluff or the deepest angst, give us your best fateful, star-crossed soulmate AU!

Day 3: ANGST-- July 13 

Time to delve into the depths of despair! A bittersweet breakup, hurt/comfort, or angst with a happy ending—it’s up to you, but it’s time to make our boys (and ourselves) face the darker side of life in search of that sweet, sweet catharsis.

Day 4: DOMESTIC-- July 14 

Pets! Weddings! Moving house! Grocery shopping! Arguing over paint samples! Canonverse or AU, this day is all about building a life together, where the most mundane things are sometimes the most meaningful.

Day 5: THE FORCE-- July 15 

What if one or both of our boys finds out they’re Force-sensitive? Or maybe they’re working through some of the trauma they faced at the hands of a Force-user. Let’s explore the most mystical aspect of canonverse from a gingerpilot perspective!

Day 6: ALTERNATE UNIVERSE-- July 16 

Bring out yer modern AUs, your fantasy AUs, your canon-divergent AUs! Alternate timelines, crossovers, fusions...What would Poe and Hux be if not the pilot and the general? Whatever universe they’re in, surely they’re still in love.

Day 7: FIRST TIME-- July 17 

First time for what? Anything! Maybe a virgin Hux has been saving himself for the right rebel pilot. Maybe farmboy Poe has never been to the big city (or Star Destroyer). Whatever it is, surely they can face anything if they’re together!

GingerpilotWeek2020 Day 6 - "Alternate Universe":

I have notes for a HP gingerpilot story, but my pc is still in storage... So, have a moodboard instead.

I'm still planning to write that story. It takes place a few years after Hogwarts, and Polyjuice potion is one of the themes.
