Breaking Down the Train Scene for Dummies That Don't Rewatch the Seasons They Say They Love, Part 1: The Leading Up to The Scene
You just reminded me of how stilted and wooden Lestat is in Armand's little Wattpad fic too, his voice is flat and he barely blinks in that scene. Lestat being very mechanical and static is a visual cue to the audience that it's not really what happened.
Yeah, I pointed out the stilted body language in the fanfic here too.

This is for @gingerpilotweek 2020, day 6: Alternate Universe. It’s more like slight AU/canon divergence/what I wanted to see happen right after “I’m the spy!” And then Poe took Hux with them, of course, and everyone lived happily ever after.
(I feel like Chewie looks naked without his bandolier, but he wasn’t wearing it in that scene... looks so wrong though, lol)

Well, holy heckle beckle. This was positively GLORIOUS in its tribute. Even knowing how the series wrapped up, the beauty of this - the editing prowess and the use of the music/lines - REALLY was a sucker-punch right in the feels. Yep, I love Kallus, too. Yes, it is entirely possible that this is an unsubstantiated speculation posted by some rando who knows nothing. But just in case there’s anything to it, or in case the Powers That Be at Marvel Studios/ Disney+ are actually considering doing this, it seems like a good idea to let them know that it is emphatically NOT what Loki’s fans want.
