Rules: Name your favorite series for each as a CP: EarthMix, BounPrem, PondPhuwin, ForceBook, JoongDunk, JimmySea, FirstKhaotung, GeminiFourth, PerthSanta, WilliamEst, JuniorMark, JossGawin, OffGun, TayNew, KristSingto, and AouBoom.
EarthMix
I can't "favorite" an EarthMix series because I love my pookies in everything. So going with most rewatched to date: A Tale of Thousand Stars (2021). Seriously though, I enjoy this CP so much and appreciate the energy they bring to the characters they play. ATOTS gave me delicious angst, Cupid's Last Wish was fun, Moonlight Chicken told an incredible story, I absolutely loved watching goofie Earth in Ossan's Love Thailand, and I am eating up cunty Mix in OFDO.
BounPrem
I am an epic follower of following followerness, because it is unrealistic to limit the scope of BounPrem series to their work under GMMTV. Between Us (2022) get's my vote here.
PondPhuwin
Me and Thee (2025). Is there any other answer? This series was comedic genius.
ForceBook
So apparently I need to prioritize Peaceful Property on my watchlist. In all transparency, there are at least 2 of their series I haven't watched yet. I didn't dislike the series I have watched, but none of them were really stand out for me. I'd really like to see them given the opportunity to play something with more oomph and less of the cliche support goofie and tsundere dynamic I've seen them cast in so far.
JoongDunk
The Heart Killers (2024) - I will never not love sassy Style flirting while his very life is being threatened.
JimmySea
My Magic Prophecy (2025) - Good crying. Lots of points.
FirstKhaotung
Ooooh, this one is hard. I appreciate a lot of what they bring as actors to their roles. They were toxically delicious in Only Friends, and were both really rich characters in Moonlight Chicken. The Eclipse remains on my to watch list (it's because every time I decide to start it on my own I decide to wait for Dori and we get distracted by new shows). I'm settling on The Heartkillers (2024) because Bison was a such a fun flavor of Sweet Psycho.
GeminiFourth
Moonlight Chicken (2023) - they both did such an incredible job in this series. I loved their story so much.
PerthSanta
Love You Teacher (2026) - I know it's still airing, but this series has made me cry every episode so far. I love the colors, the easter eggs, the characters, and the story up to this point. I think Perth and Santa are both incredible actors, and these roles are letting them really shine.
WilliamEst
ThamePo (2024) - Look, this series made me squeal and kick my feet over HAND HOLDING.
JuniorMark
My Romance Scammer (2026) - Another still airing series. I absolutely loved their arc in P10L, and honestly didn't expect any role to easily top my love of Faifa, but My Romance Scammer has given me all the feels and has been excellent so far.
JossGawin
Clearly Only Friends Dream On (2026). I mean... Boston, Tua, Arnold... 👀 As the opening credits of episode 5 started Dori said "same."
OffGun
Not Me (2021) - I loved so much about this series, and a fair amount of the soundtrack made it to my playlist.
TayNew
Cherry Magic Thailand (2023) - I loved seeing mature adult characters and really enjoyed this take on this story.
KristSingto
Ex Morning (2025) - this second chances/exes-to-lovers story gave me so many feels.
AouBoom
We Are (2024) - I just loved Tan and Fang. They made me smile and I thought they were fun.

A🐈 Kat Rambles Post:
Is anyone else still living in that room with Khanin and Charan this morning? Because I know I am.
I may have spent a ridiculous amount of time this morning rewatching THE SCENE-for science, well and for this post. Nevermind the story of the Emmalian Kiss, it absolutely felt like Khanin and Charan were binding their lives together during this scene. Khanin and Charan allowed themselves to fully unmask for each other, to see and be seen, and if those aren't unspoken vows to each other, I don't know what they are.
In all seriousness, my hat is off to the cast and crew of Mandee/Domundi, because they know how to tell a story. Between the screenplay, the direction, the acting and all the technical work (lighting, set design, filming, editing, music) - they clearly understood the assignment.
While the chemistry chemistries intensely, in the way the Domundi actors seem to have mastered, the scene itself tells a bigger story through the non-spoken communication and interactions between the characters.
Khanin has had to be bold and unwavering in his pursuit of Charan if they were to ever be anything more than their roles of prince and servant. Charan grew up in Emmaly, and was too aware of the differences in their stations to allow himself to dream about anything more. We have watched him falling in-love with Khanin against his will, and his active efforts to maintain distance between them-both literally and figuratively. Charan had every intention of running away, staying at the university and living his quiet professor life away from the temptation of Khanin. When that proved to be impossible, he held up propriety and formality like a wall between them.
Khanin was left with two choices: give up on the possibilities of a relationship with Charan, or embrace his prince role and take charge and boldly move forward. We have spent every episode since they arrived in Emmaly watching Khanin take on this daring and undaunted role, making it clear what he wants and not allowing himself to be discouraged. Which is where this scene STARTS. Once again it is Khanin asking for more, directly and unflinchingly expressing what he wants.
Even when Charan chooses to stay, he's still constrained within his role. Kneeling before Khanin he "humbly" asks permission, worshipping at Khanin's feet, and leaving Khanin to continue within his brazen role demanding more and telling Charan with both words and actions "You are allowed to cross the line."
The Lan have their headbands, and Charan has his pants-his own sign of restraint and the bounds of his social role and status. Ultimately Khanin is the one to free Charan from his self-control. That is the moment we see the full change in him. It is after this that he starts taking initiative, allowing himself to want and act on his desires fully. Charan allows himself to drop the mask and be vulnerable to Khanin, to go all in and let go of his role, and to meet Khanin as a man, not as a royal subject.
Khanin spends a notable amount of this scene with his pants (and mask) on. He remains bold, sexy and undaunted.
I absolutely love the parallel between Charan and Khanin that plays out in this scene. Charan has been forced to make himself smaller-constrained and held back in his role. Khanin on the other hand has been forced to be bigger-confident, commanding, with the illusion of invulnerability he must project as a prince. In unmasking (or rather depantsing 🤣), Charan can be his true self, unfettered and unrestrained. And Khanin can allow himself to be shy, timid, and vulnerable.
I have a lot more rolling around in my head about this show, but I've spent way longer on this post than I meant to, and I have a date with iQIYI I am running late for. Suffice it to say, I am delighted at how it has all come together so far, and am really looking forward to seeing where it goes from here.
I apparently have a lot to say about Top Form, but in respect for the limited time I have, I'm here to say:
Jin's redemption is in giving Akin what he needed - even if it wasn't what I, as the audience, wanted.
edit to add this GIF. video of full scene below break.
Discussion of Top Form episode 6 and 7 under the cut. TW for discussion of SA.
I have a whole unwritten post in my head about The Nightmare Jin / Akin Heart Rending Fest at the end of episode 6, and how Jin, who has been a magical unicorn of giving Akin what he needs all along, failed Akin.
I have A LOT of feelings. I wanted groveling. I wanted to see Jin feeling all the shock and horror of understanding what he did. Of how he stomped on Akin in his moment of greatest vulnerability, of how broken and wounded Akin was in the garage, and how Jin - the one person Akin NEEDED to love him and hold him and comfort him - shattered what was left of Akin. I wanted epic level groveling and amends making. I wanted Jin to metaphorically rip his own heart out of his chest and lay it at Akin's feet. After the opening of episode 7 I wanted blood to run in the streets for that man. I was ready to go vengeance demon for Akin.
But what I wanted, is the exact opposite of what Akin needed.
Jin's biggest failure in the series was how he got so caught up in his own feelings in episode 6, that he couldn't SEE Akin and therefor wasn't able to give Akin what he needed. In episode 7, he could have repeated that mistake. I do think Jin was remorseful. I think he -WOULD- have groveled, and would have spent the rest of his life trying to make it up to Akin. I think he would have delivered Johnny's (metaphorical) head on a platter. I think he would have burned down the theater and his career and raged in defense of Akin. That man has shown us, and Akin, repeatedly that he is in it for the long haul.
There is a great irony in that as much as I wanted a bigger and better apology, I think that Jin apologizing in that way would have been another way to fail Akin. Because the big apology would have been about Jin's feelings, about making himself feel better. But I think his true redemption is that he was able to step out of his own feelings, and once again see Akin and what Akin needed.
Jin apologized, but Akin didn't want it and couldn't tolerate it. Akin didn't need Johnny's head. Akin didn't need Jin to set the world on fire in anger and vengeance. Akin didn't need an apology. It causes me great pain that despite all MY anger and rage, that Akin wasn't angry. Akin didn't blame Jin. Akin wasn't mad. Akin was heartbroken. Akin blamed himself. Akin was full of shame.
Jin gave Akin everything he needed. Jin gave Akin his body back- by giving him the knowledge that he had not been violated in the way he feared most.* Jin gave Akin his innocence back- by giving him the knowledge that he hadn't done anything wrong. Jin gave Akin his heart back - by giving him the knowledge that he was loved and cherished.
*I feel the need to point out that Johnny unquestionably sexually assaulted Akin. The man is a gross predator, and the fact that he didn't go FURTHER than he did doesn't lessen what he did. However, it seems clear to me that for Akin that there was a line that pushed him over the shame cliff.
Censoring this post to avoid coming up in the keyword searches, because my Tumblr Wifey got doxed and disappeared, and fandoms can be intensely defensive. I'm not here to yuck anyone's yum, and not trying to host a hate train party against any series, artists, or company. Just processing my feelings.
I can't stop thinking about W-, and not in a good way.
The problem isn't that the show is bad. Quite the opposite. The acting is excellent, as expected from S- and N-. The story is engaging, and I'm genuinely invested in the growing connection between P- and N-.
If this were a Chinese series, or even a South Korean one, I would probably be kicking my feet and giggling. I'd be writing about the ways creators tell love stories within the constraints of official or unofficial censorship. But that's exactly the problem. W- is not being produced under those constraints. This is a Thai series from a company whose success has been built, in part, on queer romance stories and the fandoms that support them.
I love a good non-romantic bromance. Friendship stories can be fantastic. Found family is one of my favorites. I also value representation beyond traditional romance. Give me an asexual love story, an aromantic partnership, or any of the countless relationship dynamics that rarely get explored. There are a million stories G--TV could tell that do not center around romance or sex.
And if S- and N- simply want to work together as besties without being marketed as a romantic pairing, great. I'm here for that too. Let them tell true friendship stories. Let them tell found family stories. Let them tell stories that are not about relationships at all. Let them openly say, "We're interested in portraying platonic, asexual or aromantic relationships." That's fine. I don't need every close bond between men to become romantic.
But pick a lane.
Because right now, between W- and the pilot for their next series, what I'm left with feels like a tangled mix of homophobia, queerbaiting, and mockery of queer relationships.
In only the second Pride Month since marriage equality was enacted in Thailand, a production company known primarily for queer storytelling gave us a post credit scene in which P- presents N- with a ring. N- places it on his left ring finger. The symbolism is unmistakable, and then turned into an awkward "no homo" joke.
What am I supposed to do with that?
Maybe I'm not the target audience for this series. But then who is?
Because I don't know how to reconcile G--TV's history of queer storytelling with the choices being made for S- and N- as a pairing. And with another project that appears to take the queerbaiting/queer mockery even further already on the horizon, that discomfort only grows.
More than anything, I'm sad.
I'm disappointed.
And I'm struggling to understand why a company that has played such a significant role in queer media would choose to tell this particular story in this particular way.
🐠: Ditto. We are just sad by the choices being made. This feels so unnecessary. Let friendship be beautiful enough to stand on it's own. We are great at head canon and can make it up if we want to.

🐠Dori's post is here.
Give us some gifs of the QL actors you find most attractive and tag 5 of your surely attractive friends.
🐈: I can't "most" because I then get stuck in an over thinking loop and short circuit. I also have to set a timer for myself when making lists like this for much the same reason. So here are some QL actors that I find aesthetically fascinating.
Dunk Natachai
Earth (Cooheart) Katsamonnat
Lego Rapeepong
Net Siraphop
Nunew Chawarin
Tutor Koraphat
War Wanarat
Zee Pruk

Adventures with Kat and Dori: a journey through their unreliable memory. (real life events have been slightly dramatized for entertainment in order to accurately reflect the vibes of the experience)
Discussing the Kelvin/Vier trainwreck while watching episode 4 of Yesterday
🐠: How can they possibly fix this? This can only end with one of them in a body bag. I must emotionally be prepared.
🐈: They pulled it off with Vegas/Pete.
🐠: Right. Because Vegas died.
🐈: Vegas didn't die.
🐠: Yes he did.
🐈: "Vegas" Vegas???
Kat checking to see if Dori has her character names straight.
🐠: Yes. Vegas/Pete. He died. It was tragic. I cried. I remember.
🐈: No he didn't. He survived and they got their "happy" ending.
🐠 & 🐈...
Kat and Dori giving each other side eye, both completely confident they are right while also having significant past evidence that their memories cannot always be trusted. Dori is never 100% sure of anything, so this rare show of certainty is enough cause Kat to doubt herself.
Cue joint spiraling that launches investigation to see who is gaslighting themselves. Dori runs to google for quick answers while Kat goes directly to the finale.
🐠: Apparently Vegas survived in the book. Maybe you are thinking of that? But pretty sure he died in the show... or they implied he did...
Kat continues diligently scanning every subtitle until there it is... the truth.
Mention of Vegas. Alive. Recovering. And being cared for by Pete. A happy ending.
🐠: HOW do I not remember that?!? Like at all! I would have bet actual money. This is why I can never be trusted to testify as a witness.
In summery:
- Kat wins this round of "Who is the unreliable narrator?!"
- Fact checking is important because brains like to make shit up.
- Never bet real money... especially if you are Dori!

Prompt: Make a list of couples that have what it takes to make it in the long run
🐈: Dori wouldn't let me on Tumblr until I finished my list. AND IT HAS BEEN A WEEK Y'ALL. So better later than never. Also I have another big week coming up and stuff to prep today, so this has to be quick. And in Kat speak that means I am not allowed to overthink and instead will spend 10 minutes making my list and 4 hours looking for the RIGHT gifs.
Apparently I spent more than 10 minutes making my list because I found myself going down the THEME path. DAMNIT.
