(JOHAN SEONG CRUSH/DATING HEADCANNONS)

THE CRUSH PHASE

Johan probably developed a crush on you when he saw you playing with his dogs Miru and Eden, but he won’t understand the meaning of the butterflies in his stomach and the small smile on his face.

Later on, you’ll catch Johan always in your radius. Be it a library, a cafe or an outing with friends... He is watching you silently. Not like a creep, because he himself doesn’t know why he is doing this.

When eventually you walk up and talk to him, he freezes. He won’t have any answers to your question. He’ll look away, his hands shoved deep in his hoodie pockets and walk away. He needs ten minutes of ‘alone time’ and heavy breathing in an alleyway just to recover from you saying "Hi."

 He will lie to himself for months. "I went to that cafe because the ramen is cheap and good…right?” (The ramen is terrible but cheap).

Because he learns by copying, he will start picking up your habits. If you always buy a specific chocolate milk, he’ll find himself holding one at the convenience store without even thinking. If you use a certain slang, it’ll slip out of his mouth, and he’ll look genuinely confused afterward.

If he ever notices you struggling for something, he’ll magically appear to help. Coincidentally, of course.

THE DATING PHASE

Eventually, with some courage from maybe Jake (he likes setting people up), Johan will ask you out. Once you start dating, Johan is surprisingly clingy in a quiet way. He constantly needs to be touching you be it holding your hand, resting his head on your lap, or just sitting so close your shoulders touch. But only when he is sure that there’s no one around.

He is quite private, but he becomes emotionally vulnerable with you. He’ll share all his struggles, his problems and would ask for advice.

 He’s still frugal and focused on his mom’s medical bills, but he’ll save up for weeks just to take you to a decent movie or a convenience store date which you love.

Johan won’t be the one to introduce you to his mom. You’ll go to visit her by yourself in the hospital with a bouquet of yellow roses and get-well-soon cards. When he’ll come to know that you met up with her, he'll become so nervous that he’ll barely speak to you, but when he hears his mom praise you makes him realize he’d do anything,literally anything, to keep you in his life.

He is deadly serious about keeping you away from gang life. If anyone even mentions your name, Johan is at their throat in seconds. You are the only part of his life that makes his life beautiful, and he wants to keep it that way. But he will introduce you to Zack and Mira.

Johan loveeeeeeeeeeees food cooked from your hands. Be it burnt food or normal food, he loves home cooked food because it makes him feel like he belongs.

After he joins back school he gets special tuition from you, because he has had literally elementary level education and also because he wants to beat Zack on whatever unspoken bet they have (also because he wants to become a better man for you).

 His phone is filled with pictures of you and his dogs. He asks you to back up those pictures on your computer because his phone’s memories get filled up constantly.

Even though he might be God Dog he’s a shy boi. So even if he imagines sharing intimate moments with you, he’ll never be the one to start the first initiation. You’ll probably be the first one to kiss him on his cheek because he did something cute (tied pink bows around Eden and Miru) and in return he’ll try kissing you back. (mind you he’s not very good at it, but he tries…. 🥀)

You’re his everything. He’ll let the world burn, if it allows you to have a happy and fulfilled life.

gap haunts the narrative all the time, and he was the mc a couple decades ago. so let's start with him.

he has a few sons but he has a LOT of daughters. like even kitae didn't expect how many daughters he'd have.

jake was a huge pokemon fan growing up and he collected cards for years. his favorite is lucario.

kitae is not racist. he doesn't care about anyone's nationality or race, he'll just kill them anyway.

everyone in the second generation was either a fan of dg or got bullied by the others into becoming a fan of dg, but stopped stanning him after finding out who he was

vasco listens to metal and rock, mainly in english. he doesn't understand the language, but he can feel what the singer is singing about. he gets it somehow because he's vasco

the burn knuckles started listening to more rock and metal because of him and found out they actually enjoy the genres

daniel like eating really spicy food. he also really likes eggs.

jay is actually serious about becoming a doctor. after seeing daniel in a coma, he decided no one should feel like he did and that he would help as many people as possible

people also assume he's stupid because he doesn't talk, and the only ones who haven't done so are his friends in j high

zack listens to edit audios and imagines himself in one whenever he does or if he has one specific audio stuck in his head

the girls have special nights where the boys aren't allowed and eat snacks and watch movies together. it was originally started by zoe and mira, but then grew to include crystal, mary, and leonn

the bad news guy is actually a time and space traveler. that's why he's available at all spaces to deliver the bad news.

jake is asexual. he just woke up one day and knew it

he also thinks bisexuals are people who have sex twice a year

jerry likes johan a lot because he's a pretty boy like him (allegedly)

johan let eli cut his hair once and ran immediately to his mom to fix it

random second gen kids show up at johan's house to pet eden and miru

the second generation take turns babysitting yenna when eli has to do something

everyone is jealous of warren because he has a girlfriend

max and derek aren't gay, they're best friends who are like brothers. but everyone assumes they're gay

nobody really like hudson because they think he's boring, but he grew on them a little as time went on

hudson has so many busineses because he wants to retire early, hopefully with his mentor

sally has a little shrine for olly and heather in a part of the building. everyone has come across it but they don't talk about it

eugene likes watching detective shows like monk and the mentalist, and yoosung likes watching nature documentaries
