I might be hanging on by a thread, but it’s attached to the hem of His garment. Amen
I am requesting prayer for a friendship of mine. It is far more tenuous than I realized. Please pray that God's Reconciliation and Healing will prevail. Thank you. ❤️
Update: It's already working. A lot still needs to be fixed, but a lot also just happened. Thank you all. ❤️
As if a hazing of myself,
a rite of passage;
an initiation,
I lean into my insanity.
I don't let go of God, no,
but I feel as though all my suffering
is invisible to the eyes.
Ever watchful eyes of society.
I am tired of dreaming of my breakdown,
I want it to become a reality.
So that all can see my brokenness
for how it feels on the inside.
Glass on my heart,
broken tear ducts,
leaking at the worst times.
A mind that grows thickets of anger
as quickly as they dispel.
I want to lean into my insanity.
Make my home in its familiarity.
I want to live within myself,
sit with myself.
Heal by understanding.
This is who I am on the inside.
God's healing hand would be seen brightly
within my darkness.
For Him to heal the broken,
I think I must first acknowledge the breaking.

Starrie's Rambles
Today, I took a mental health day. I have been having a lot of panic/anxiety attacks due to a mental health disorder. I personally call them rolling panic attacks because the effects can last a few days for me after a trigger. I was praying to God about it earlier, and it really helped me out a lot. Through my struggles, I know that God is near. In the Bible, it says in Psalms 34:18, "The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit." I could feel Him, trying to calm me down. I really want to help normalize mental health issues and help in the Christian communities. So this is going to be my way to do that from time to time. Your mental health matters, and it is ok to take a break or have a slow day like I am today. Please take care of yourselves out there and stay safe!
