the cast of Pantheon SMP are playing Champions of the Greek Gods, but some of them have already been followers, acolytes, or even outright champions of other deities in the MCYT universe. here are just a few that I could recall:

-Shelby learned thunder powers and honed her magic with the help of God Joel of Stratos in Empires SMP/Witchcraft SMP

-Sausage worships Santa Perla in Empires SMP/Afterlife SMP. he also becomes an Acolyte of the Church in Cowboy SMP

-Scott is the second champion of Aeor in Empires SMP and is, for a time, a leader of Jeremyism in X Life SMP

-Owen, as the Jester, has a deal with a mysterious deity called Stultus in The Realm SMP

-In Bannerfall SMP, Owen and Apo are connected the Knight God, as is Martyn with the Rogue God and Scott and Sausage with the Mage God. @ryuliupeonies also reminded me of Sausage's relationship with Lady Death

-there are lots of interpretations of the Life Series' Watcher Lore, but The Watchers are definitely akin to deities. Martyn is the only one who they speak to directly, but Scott, Pearl, and Cleo are also within their control

I was actually planning on posting these tonight anyway, but in light of… um… recent events. This is even more fitting! @bunnieswithknives’s Villain Jimmy Animatic really inspired me so I did a couple of screenshot redraws of some of the scenes from the animatic! (Go check out the original :D)

As much as the reality of villain jimmy greatly saddens me, I do think… maybe he kind of deserves it. As a treat.

Thinking about god joel x ocean queen lizzie. joel spending a millennia in mourning and it changing him so completely,, and then gradually lizzies memories begin to return,, her image of the self centred god clashing with her beloved husband who would do anything for her, who would give up his humanity for her,,, only for her to return to someone she doesn't recognise,,, the way they still hold nothing but love for each other,, how they have to navigate this new dynamic as they've both changed irreversibly in their millennia apart but want nothing more than to make it work,,, something something the power of love idk
