new outfit for dahlia, it is actually the one on the right. that's the main one.
two more leaders of the golden iris, lady red, and patches
lady red is the 6th leader and muscle of the golden iris. those who work under lady red make the polka dot squad. they take on the big toons.
patches is the 4th leader and the medic of the golden iris. it rare the anybody work under her. she does assassination as well.

The worst part of writing a story (book, game, movie, or anything) is having to decide which parts to cut out because they're contradictory with other important parts.
I'm so tempted to just give Golden Iris multiple endings/routes, but if I do players may not experience the beautiful ending I have planned for the main ending.
I've written so many scenes I'll probably have to remove, and it kinda hurts. I put my soul into writing these and people will likely never see them.
Oh God I just had an idea. I can write fanfiction of my own game anonymously after it's out... Ooh now that's tempting.
Chapter 8 - Blood in the Rain, may be my favorite chapter of anything I've ever written.
I have spent the entire story up to this point making the characters and players dread this inevitable and tragic moment. Hugo and Alicia, two people who once were inseparable, forced to fight each other one last time. Neither wants this, but they cannot afford to lose everything they've fought so hard for. The price to protect those you love, is blood in the rain.
I absolutely love this scene in a way I cannot express through words. The emotional peak of my story, and the pinnacle of my writing skill. I have cried literally every time I've rewritten this scene. Perfection.
If Golden Iris ever comes out as a real playable game, I know this moment will be unforgettable.
