BAKERU coming west on September 3 for Switch, PC - Gematsu
Spike Chunsoft will release Good Feel-developed 3D action game BAKERU for Switch and PC via Steam on September 3 in the west, the publisher announced. A demo is available now via Nintendo eShop.
BAKERU first launched for Switch on November 30, 2023 in Japan.

Bakeru’s adventure begins in this Japan-esque wild action game! Disaster strikes Japan! Oracle Saitaro and his Festival Troops are using a bizarre festival to take over Japan. Bakeru travels to 47 Japanese prefectures to free Japan from the grip of evil spirits!

I wanted you to know that to me you are the greatest Tokyo Ghoul writer out there. I left the fandom awhile back due to ~drama~ but decided to drag my ass back after realizing it's stupid to be chased off something I love because of some bad eggs. The first thing I did when I rejoined was searched for your works and I'm happy to say they are even better than I remember. I've spent three days reading TG fics (new and old) and can confidently say yours are the best of the bunch. (to be continued)
(continued) I don't know if you plan on writing much more and posting it on AO3, and I sadly do believe the TG fandom will shrink now that everything is over, but I sincerely hope that you do keep writing for the fandom from time to time. This shit is helping me so much through a tough time and I cannot thank you enough. Even if you never write another word I wanted you to know how much what you did create means to me. now that tg feels kinda behind us, sometimes the thought crosses my mind like, “was it worth it?” all this time spent writing fanfic, could have been spent on a variety of things, even original writing...i can tell myself it does have value but it’s way different and really nice to hear straight out that it means something to someone else, so, i just want to convey how cheered up and thankful i am for the time you took to write this message to me. from the beginning i’ve been more of the kind to write whatever i feel like on a whim, so i won’t really say i’m “quitting” tg; but i do hope that whim will take me back to tg now and then in the future! 🙏 as for where i’ll post, i’ll probably continue to use tumblr, since my style for fic nowadays is pretty informal and i feel that doesn’t really suit ao3. anyway....
