I'm making pizza dough so I can make heart shaped pizzas tomorrow for Valentine's Day!!! I love pizza so it seems fitting!! ❤️❤️❤️ I mix high gluten flour, salt, water, bloomed yeast, and sugar to make the dough. It is very inexpensive to make your own pizza and it's fun to do!! And it's a good workout for your upper arms when you knead the dough!!! 😁😁😁
I turned the dough out of the bowl and added olive oil to it...
Then I mixed that in and kneaded the dough for an additional 5 minutes...
I, then, made 4 balls of dough, and I put them in an oiled bowl and covered them with plastic wrap. I, then, put them in the refrigerator. I'll leave them there overnight. Pizza dough is better if it rises slowly in the fridge overnight, I have found. I got this recipe from my friend, Vinny, in NY, who owns a pizzeria. He taught me well. He told me that the secret to good pizza dough lies in the water that you use. I can't get NY water here so I use distilled water and it works great!! He also told me to use high gluten flour so I do. The dough is easy to make and pizza is fun to make so I love doing this!!! They don't make pizza correctly here in Washington state so I had to learn to make my own. I'm very glad that I did because it's fun and I make the best pizza around... I say that modestly, but with honesty, too 🤭🤭🤣🤣😋😋 I can't wait to make the pizzas because I already made a tasty marinara sauce and I have real Italian cheeses to top the pizzas!!! It's gonna be great!!😋😋❤️❤️🤗🤗
