A beautiful visitor to The Magic Cottage. I rescued him from the water storage tank just in time 😊 #themagiccottage #grasshopper #cricket #gooddeedoftheday #wildlife #mygarden #green #naturelovers #gardenlife #beauty (at The Magic Cottage, Transylvania.) https://www.instagram.com/p/CGSD6XCJhGw/?igshid=p4iu7pfs7f6v

Sometimes the simple things in life are what we need! Have you ever had a stressful week at work or school and just need some time to stop and smell the roses? Sometimes, I think as humans we take those things for granted and forget about the little things. We have grown into a world that is hateful and focused on money and greed. We have become a society that focuses on what benefits us and not the community as a whole. So what if we all took that time to "stop and smell the roses?" Would we as a society and community become a safer place?
I recently went to a small-town community where they don't take the little things for granted; everyone was out walking around the community. They were shopping together, eating together, and opening doors and holding them for each other!
So I present this challenge to you; do a good deed, comment, and repost! Have fun!
I personally would like to learn from these people and become a better person and take more time to learn patience.
Good deed of the day
So my apartment accidently deposited someone else's money into my account. It was over 3000. I could've stayed silent and let someone else be evicted due to their mistake but i spoke up! My good deed for the day. Whoever the money belonged to should be thankful it was me and not someone else like my roommate.
So I work at a waterpark as lifeguard and today I was put wave pool there is a lazy river spot literally right next to the wave pool I was sent over there to dip net leaves out of the river and start my day off over at this particular spot. Not even five minutes of being open I saw something splashing in the water and it happened to be a little baby bird drowning so I grabbed my dip net and hopped in the water to helping the little guy out. After I got the little guy out of the water I'm literally standing there with a baby bird perched up on a dip net and I'm thinking shit what do I do know I don't know what do I can't get off stand I need to watch my water or I'm going to get yelled at. As I'm trying to figure out what to do one of my co-worker happen to be walking by with a radio I yelled out "Dude you need to call the lead over I saved a baby bird from drowning and I don't know what to do I need help"! After she made the call my lead finally came over with one of the medics to help out they took the baby bird and put it behind a tree for it dry off and throughout the day they keep checking on it. From what I understand they think it flew away because it was no longer behind the tree at the end of the day. That was my good deed for today.
