I always imagined Gordor being turned/reincarnated/pmd-fied into a shiny Honchkrow.
At first he has no clue how to use moves or fly.
After becoming a honchkrow, Gordor only remembers his goal, legendary beasts, his name and the fact he was a human, the rest of his memories are wiped out (including those of Hastings, his kids and his team).

The next bout in the tournament is another main series vs spin offs contest! It's going to be an uphill battle for one of these two, given the popularity of the other, but never count anyone out before the votes are cast!
The guy who beats you down, and beats you down, and never let's up- it's big bad Guzma! He's the Bug Type boss of Team Skull, and though he's the type to lead through fear, he also inspires great loyalty and looks out for his grunts. It's implied Guzma was a star battler in his youth, but had a difficult relationship with his father, and ran away after failing at his dream of becoming a Trial Captain. Guzma ultimately ended up having his desire for respect used against him, being used by Lusamine as muscle, and he ends up in deep with people undoubtedly more nefarious than himself! Something of a complex guy who's both a victim and a villain, does that make him your choice for best villain?
Going up against the big man is Gordor! He's the leader of Pokémon Ranger's Go-Rock Squad, and a man with perhaps something of an inferiority complex? He once worked with Professor Hastings, but over time, the two fell out, with Gordor frustrated by being an eternal second place to his friend. Since then, almost everything he's done has been with the goal of beating his former colleague and proving himself the best! Gordor is so focused on the goal, that even his children, the Go-Rock Quads, are roped into helping him see his dream realised. Is this his time to shine? Or is he stuck in an eternal second place?
Ghetsis Harmonia Gropius (BW/B2W2) Vs Gordor (Ranger)
Who's a worse parent?

Why do they suck? Well...
Ghetsis: He raised three orphaned children to do his bidding. Raising them to uphold the ideals of liberating Pokemon from people in order to make himself the most powerful man in the world.
When those children eventually found out the truth and went against him, he showed that he never really cared about them in the first place. They were simply tools to him.
In N's case, he isolated N from all humans and N was only allowed to interact with Pokemon. Once N realized he was being manipulated and went against Ghetsis' wishes, Ghetsis threw N away without a second glance never actually caring about him at all, calling him a "freak without a human heart."
Gordor: Gordor is the father of the go rock quads: Billy, Tifanny, Garret, and Clyde. He made them the higher authority in the Go Rock Squad, the organization he leads. Basically he raised them into a criminal life style.
After his defeat he abandons them along with the rest of the organization.
Once again, images and dialogue were taken from this Let’s Play Archive.
Gordor: *Grumble* I come to this infernal place... The legendary Pokemon... *Mutter* ...All Hastings's fault... *Grumble* ...Get their comeuppance... just watch me... *Mutter*
Gordor, upon noticing the player: Ugwah! You startled me! You should no better than to sneak up on someone like that!
Gordor: Hm... I see. You're a Ranger from Ringtown. It took you long enough to get here. Of course, I suppose I expect far too much of a Union Ranger. Let me get a closer look at your face... Hah! A mere child! The union sent a pip-squeak for me! Classic, I say! Classic! Ah, but, child, this is no fault of yours. For it is I, Gordor, who lost his bearings in this forest and called for help. Now, return me the courtesy of telling me your name. ...I see. [Player] it is. Now, guide me out of the forest.
Gordor: Hm. Not too shabby. From what I understand, that device- Styler, was it?- is not something that just anyone can use. For a capture to succeed, the Ranger using the Styler must have "the spirit of justice," was it? But- [Player], was it?- what exactly is "the spirit of justice"? Or, indeed, what is justice? Who is to say what is considered justice now will be the justice of tomorrow? *Snickers* Perhaps that was too difficult for a child like you to grasp.
Yes, this is the introduction of this game’s main antagonist, yes, he got himself lost in the woods and yes we have to help him get out.
I am normal about the fact we literally hear him talk about Hastings before we even learn his name.
It begins...
Gordor: That Murkrow... Does it dare mock me for losing my bearings in the forest? Grrr... You Murkrow! How dare you heckle me! I won’t take your insolence! You, you, you... Useless! Contrary! Meaningless! Crass! Bombastic! Buffoon of a Murkrow!
*Murkrow runs off*
I could put something insightful here about how Murkrow can only repeat things back, even able to Mimic voices, so Gordor is literally yelling at himself. Or how this scene could be reflective of how Gordor inherently feels like he needs to defend himself from mock and ridicule even when it doesn’t exist, like a constant need to prove yourself. But this is literally “Old man yells at cloud” turned into an entire scene.
Gordor: It appears that "crass" got to that insolent bird. That whole exchange has given me heartburn. Get me out of this confounded forest immediately!
*The player uses a fire type to clear the log Murkrow was on*
Gordor: Hoh! Impressive. Perhaps your talents are somewhat wasted escorting this old man!
*We briefly see Murkrow before it runs away*
Gordor: Is that the heckling Murkrow? Being called a buffoon must have stung! Did we not pass this spot earlier? [Player], was it? Surely you're not suggesting that you've lost your way? Aren't you Rangers trained for this sort of thing? Do something useful!
*Lost woods theme plays in the distance*
*Murkrow hides in the tree*
Gordor: That wretched Murkrow again? It bears a grudge badly. Impressive. But what is this dark haze? Why does it cling so? Get me out of this dank misery of a forest!
*Attempting to progress will loop you back this room*
Gordor: What is this? We've returned to the same spot! And that Murkrow... Hear it cackle at us ominously...
*The Player needs to knock Murkrow out of the tree*
Gordor: What the...? It dares to impede us? Well? what are you waiting for? There's your cue! Capture that irksome Murkrow already!
“It bear a grudge badly”? Buddy just indirectly explained his own character.
Gordor: That dark haze lifted upon your capturing that Murkrow... Was it creating that haze? But it annoys me to no end to be toyed by such a wretch... Enough! Release the vile thing! How much of my time must you waste? Get me out of the forest once and for all!
*The Grunt quickly flees*
Gordor: Hm, that was the Go-Rock Squad... I've heard they are roundly reviled and ridiculed as wrongdoers. However, how much of that reputation is fair or warranted? Perhaps they are merely and grossly misunderstood? Why, they may be more useful than some worthless Ranger who can barely manage the simple task of a guide. Ah, I see where we are. I can manage on my own from here. I should say that you were successful, for what it's worth. I enjoyed our time together, you Union Ranger. Fufufu... Fufufu... Fwahahahaha!

Does anyone else remember that hot moment in like 2017 where everyone pretended Gordor was like. The shittest parent ever or something? Like they'd never say why they'd just hate on him for no reason
