Author's Note: Since my other account @cheekyredwillow got deleted. I am adding some of my favorite fanfictions to this account and revamping this one with new ones. I hope to make an actual list of fandoms I am still a fan of! NO requests for the time being.

~Jim has dealt with so much shit

~Between going after villains to dealing with the PD

~So when you two fell asleep one night

~He had a nightmare you were killed by multiple Gotham villains

~You don't notice he has a nightmare until you feel cold

~When Jim is sitting in the kitchen nursing something to drink

~But not facing the bedroom

~You have to come up from behind

~And hug him tight

~He will probably jump 

~But he melts in your embrace 

~He wont tell you want happened

~But he will allow to be vulnerable 

~And allow you to just mumble in a sleepy voice all the reasons you love him

Edward Nygma

~Edward didn't have nightmares often

~But seemed to have them after being in Arkham

~Then escaping to home

~You would only know when you heard him arguing with himself

~That he shouldn't wake you up

~That this makes him useless

~As you could hear him mutter these things

~Pull him down to the bed

~So you can cuddle into him

~And promise that you'll always be there

~Both sides will melt

~And he'll tell you about the nightmare 

~So you'll understand his pain

Oswald Cobblepot 

~Oswald had nightmares often

~And you usually knew

~The reason is that he talked in his sleep and would hold onto you tight

~You would feel his hands tighten

~And whimpers fall out of his lips

~You’ll probably have to wake him up

~Just to let him know that he is not alone

~He will be sweaty and his heart racing

~But as long as you kiss his lips

~And squeeze his hand

~Oswald will calm down

~Go get a washcloth to help him cool off

~And intertwine your hands before you fall back asleep

Jonathan Crane

~Nightmares plague his head all the time

~And it isn’t because it is his fault

~It usually has to do with his father

~And another person that you will know when he wakes up

~Because he gets as far away from you

~He is shaking in fear 

~It’s usually when he does not consume himself in fear

~But appears in his nightmare

~Allow him to slowly calm down on his own

~He’ll immediately climb back into bed 

~Because he needs to feel you by his side

~Usually he falls asleep slowly after

Jervis Tech

~Jervis usually has nightmares that his Alice runs away

~You ran away because he harms you

~Jervis is one of the ones who will wake you up

~Just to make sure you are real

~And still loves him

~Before you get tired again, you’ll notice the fear in his eyes

~Whisper to him how much you love him

~And kiss his cheek 

~Before cuddling into his chest which calms him down

Victor Zsasz

~Victor wont show he has nightmares 

~You usually know when you wake up

~And he’s sitting in the shared bathroom just staring

~No emotions are shown

~But you know what is going on

~So you’ll have to go in

~And kneel where you look up at him

~He won't say anything

~He’ll just pull you into his lap

~And holds you tight 

~Just the silent of the night is going to be heard

~Victor will pick you up and bring you back to bed

~Usually it takes just that before the two of you fall asleep

~Victor will probably mention his nightmare later on in the week

~When he is ready

Jeremiah Valeska

~Even after the spray, Jeremiah still gets nightmares

~It happens to be about him almost killing you

~And he’ll wake up to you being sound asleep

~He’ll touch your arm

~And sigh 

~Usually you know something happened because he’ll be in the lab

~Bent over

~And probably throwing things in anger

~When you ask him what’s wrong

~You’ll see the anger turn to worry

~An emotion you do not see often

~And Jeremiah will walk over to you to hold you tight

~Demanding you wont leave him

~Even though you never thought that way

~It’s feeling you near him that causes him to want to go back to bed with you

Jerome Valeska

~Jerome did not have nightmares too often

~He was awake in the middle of the night usually

~But when he did fall asleep and had nightmares

~He was similar to Oswald by holding you tighter against him

~But you would still be asleep 

~Until you feel him kissing your face and neck while rubbing your hip

~When you slowly wake up, Jerome will kiss you lips and grin

~Usually you wouldn’t ask much

~Until you watch his grin falter

~That’s when you touch his face

~And kiss him softly till Jerome makes you fall back into his chest

~Once the two of you hit the bed, he’ll still be rubbing your arms or hips

~But you’ll hear him yawn

~He falls asleep pretty quick

Quite a Strudel.

So I had an idea. I have never seen "How to Marry a Millionaire", but I found this scene and I love it.

I got to thinking, what if it was replaced with Gotham riddler?

Wrote this for the people who might have insecurities about glasses. I've had glasses for years but always have been insecure, especially since I'm one of the only few in my family to have them. Didn't have much courage till a year or two ago.

This is basically an unpolished and random thing I did. I watched only a bit of Gotham, so sorry if I'm not accurate.

You're sitting on a bus as the vehicle makes yet another stop at a stop. You had just ended a grueling shift and have been dying to get home. Away from the blurry sight of the world to the sanctuary of your quiet living room, where you know a fresh cup of your favorite drink awaits you.

In the meantime, while you wait to arrive at your destination, you pull out a book, delicately remove the bookmark, and begin to read the chapter you had left on.

It's a minute later that you barely register a tall fellow situating himself next to you from the corner of the eye. You don't mind him and continue with your reading.

It isn't till you hear him make a small noise that catches your attention when you turn to look at him.

"Look, didn't you bring your glasses?" The man towards you.

You blink at him. Who is this?

"What glasses?" You reply, but inside you were panicking. You hoped you haven't given yourself away somehow.

"Don't you wear glasses?", His voice questions, lingering with curiosity, but you simply ignore it in favor of continuing denying his question.

"Oh, no! What ever gives you that idea?"

"Then you got some peculiar vision."

It's quite strange of him to say and decide to voice your inner thoughts, "Why do you say that?"

He gestures to your book, "You're reading upside down."

Oh.

Well that's awkward.

"It's silly, isn't it?" You feel a small wave of embarrassment flooded you. You closed the book and placed it on your lap.

"Is it astigmatism?"

You just shake your head, "No, just blind as a bat."

"Me too!" You feel him perk up as the row you sit slightly makes a squeal at the stranger's movement. What an odd thing to be excited about. Nevertheless, your lips twitch upward.

"Really? Then why aren't you wearing glasses?" It's a simple jab, but it's the only thing you can think to say.

"I am wearing glasses," his tone now full of amusement as you squint and inch towards his face, practically noses touching.

From here you can see a small bit of red dyed against his pale face and eyes widened from behind those specs he indeed had. You shoot straight back and hum.

"Well, there you are."

The stranger darts his eyes and clears his throat.

"I used to be like that. Walking into fire hydrants and shaking hands with lamp posts, tripping over everything... All because I didn't want to be called 'four-eyes'. Then something happened to me."

You leaned in once more as if you were about to be told the answer to the greatest problem of the century. "What was that?"

"One day, I started giving out riddles."

You deflate a bit and let out a small puff of air before it dissolves into small laughter and hear quiet chuckles from your seat companion to match yours.

"But it's different with girls," you somber the mood a bit.

"How so?"

"You know what they say about girls who wear glasses," you shrug, but you can see how the man didn't quite understand your comment.

"What are you talking about?"

"Men aren't very attentive to girls who wear glasses."

"Did you ever try it? Did you bring them with you?"

You can faintly see his eyebrows raise and head tilt to the side in question. That's cute.

"Yes," you said nodding your head.

"Why don't you put them on and find out?" The man motions to your bag. Even with your bad sight, you can see his huge smile as he waits in anticipation.

"With you?" You can help, but blurt out. Looking at him in surprise.

"Why not?" It's his turn to shug, his shoulders almost touches his ears.

"Well..." Digging in your bag, you find your case and quickly grab your glasses and gaze at him, making eye contact once more. Are you really gonna do this?

As if he can sense your hesitation, he quickly says "If you're worried about me, I already think you're quite a strudel."

It takes a moment for it to register what he just called you before you feel a heat crawl up from your neck to your now rosy cheeks.

Did he just call you a snack??

You gotta admit, you've never heard a compliment like that. There was a certain charm to it and you can hear the sincerity behind those words.

"Honestly?" Even if he was sincere, you can't help but fiddle with your glasses and asking as if to reaffirm his words.

"I've thought so from the first minute I saw you."

Hearing those words made you feel giddy and light. It gave you courage as you stared at your glasses before unfolding them. "Well, if you really think so."

Making haste, you plucked them right now and whipped your head at the stranger's reaction to your new look.

It's a shared but brief silence that falls between the two of you. You finally get to see what he looks like in all his glory.

The man is tall yet lanky with short, dark hair neatly parted to the side. His eyes are a lovely shade of brown that are framed with black, half frame glasses that suited him. You admire him a bit more but it swiftly ends just as it began. He opens his mouth and says... "You're crazy."

Your heart drops.

"No?" You meekly answer.

You look better with them."

Utter relief fills you. Did he want to give you a heart attack? It's amazing how up and down your emotions can go in the matter of seconds because of someone you barely know.

"I do?"

"Gives your face a certain mystery." He nods, almost to himself.

"No kidding?" Your voice is in disbelief.

"And a certain kind of distinction." He comments.

"What do you know about that." You're full on smiling. It's as if your muscles in your face can't stop themselves.

"You're very pretty, if you don't mind me saying." He quickly added the last part as if you were to be offended.

"Not at all," you fling back.

"Glasses of that type give your face a very interesting difference."

If this cute stranger doesn't stop, you're very certain you might implode on yourself. You'd think he was the strudel by all the sweetness he was directing towards you.

"I don't look like an old maid?" It was something you heard constantly when you first got your glasses. You didn't mind looking older but it was still hard to hear.

"I've never seen anybody in my life that reminded me less of an old maid."

And... Hook, line, and sinker did you go and fall hard. It felt like you didn't even stand a chance with those charming words and that captivating smile.

"What's your name?" You beamed.

His eyes twinkled. Grabbing your hand, he kissed it. "Edward Nygma. And yours?"

When Edward Nygma woke up today, he didn't expect his car to be decided to give him trouble today and take the bus today. However, he wasn't complaining. Especially, not now.

He had seen you sitting down all by yourself. You were mesmerizing. While he would've normally kept his distance and admire from far away, he couldn't help it once he had seen your book.

It was upside down!

He immediately told you and somehow convinced you to wear your glasses. Edward didn't think someone could look more dazzling. He thought he would drive you away, instead you were listening about his car troubles to some trivia, even the latest he's been working on. Eagerly soaking in all his words as he was your addicting attention.

"-That's why I'm hoping to catch Officer Gordon before goes off, so I can give him this new evidence I just discovered."

"Where do you think he is?"

"If I'm lucky, at the precinct. Why are you heading there?"

He sees that your brows furry a bit. "Who's going to precinct?"

"Doesn't this bus go there?" He questions.

"What are you talking about?" He sees your face only growing more confused.

"This is bus 37. We should be arriving at its destination in minutes. Why?" He knows anyway. You obviously had read the bus schedule wrong but asked to see your reaction anyway.

Would you try to get off the bus? Away to your correct location and away from him? The thought made Edward frown. He didn't get your number yet.

"No reason. Just one of those things." You waved your hand and didn't inform him of what he already knew.

Your next words rendered Edward Nygma speechless.

"Go on, tell me more. Tell me anything." You turned to him, legs crossed and face resting on your hands. Your glasses perfectly framed your eyes as if they were a precious jewel in a museum exhibit.

Edward quickly leaned against you, shoulder to shoulder. Picking up from where he left off.

Was it too early to fall in love? Doesn't matter, he'll get that number soon at the very least.

You inhaled salty air tinged with a palpable toxicity that could only belong to your city. Sky scrapers draped in the flashing lights of downtown were serenaded by shrieking sirens while you wandered in a wobbling single file line off the ferry that pulled you to and from the Narrows each and every night you braved what the streets had to offer, small puffs of your breath leaving your lips before you wisely tugged your scarf up higher to shield from the chilly wind.

The pier was wet from an onset overcast sky that had ladeled the potholes with rain water earlier that day when you had been working in town, but you criss crossed the puddles without mind, the map of your city ingrained into you since the day you had first started taking to the streets, which only grew with knowledge the longer you lingered around what Gotham had to offer to any person willing to get their hands dirty and keep their mouths shut when the sun set and it’s underbelly stirred to life.

Your jacket was zipped up tight, a manila envelope tucked carefully inside the fleece lining, ribs warmed by the contents as you kept your eyes on the road ahead, cutting from the docks and foot traffic of neighbours - everyone was a neighbour in the Narrows, no matter if you lived in the root of it all or just outside, everyone was family - to keep a steady stride and head into the darkened alleys that interconnected the island like a labyrinth.

I got a kind of abusey vibe from the song and I don’t feel comfortable writing that, so I’m sorry if that what you wanted, but I hope you like it.

You crouch on the edge of the building, your gaze roving the streets beneath you, as Bruce settles next to you. You keep your eyes forward, intent on ignoring his own gaze focused on you. But you’ve never been good at ignoring him.

I bet you kiss your knuckles

Right before they touch my cheek

The two of you drop down onto the thugs below, and you can’t help but grin at the exhilaration as you attack. You’re aware of Bruce’s every move behind you, until you finally take down your last guy. You turn to face him and find him less than a foot from you.

He reaches out to move the stray hairs from your cheek, the brush of his knuckles against your skin causing a shiver to go down your spine.

But I've got my mind, made up this time

'Cause there's a menace in my bed

You jolt awake from the nightmare, running down the hallway before you can even comprehend what’s happening. A door on your left opens and you spin, only to be met with warm hands on your arms and a familiar face.

You sigh in relief and crumpled against him. Bruce envelops you in his arms as you calm down. He doesn’t ask what the nightmare was about, and you don’t offer an answer. You’re both used to them.

Would you lie for me?

Cross your sorry heart and hope to die for me?

Would you pin me to a wall?

Would you beg or would you crawl?

Stick a needle in your hungry eyes for me?

You strain against the ropes as Bruce struggles against his own. Your captors walk towards you as Bruce shouts.

“Let her go!” He insists. “She doesn’t know anything.” But you do.

“Last chance.” One of the men reveals a switchblade in his hands, and presses it against your neck.

You clench your jaw and close your eyes, waiting for the sting of pain, followed by nothing. However, all you feel is freedom, as the rope binding you falls away to the floor.

You stand and open your eyes, revealing Bruce, knuckles bloody and breathing hard.

His eyes flick up to meet yours and your resistance crumbles.

You feel the wall press up against your back as Bruce’s hands holds your hips. His lips are rough against yours, and you feel the desperation in his kiss.

Let's cause a little trouble

You dodge as Bruce aims a kick for your legs, responding with your own kick. The two of you spar back and forth, until Bruce’s left fist shoots out. He lands a glancing blow against your cheek, and you stumble back. Bruce has you pinned against the floor before you can recover, and you grin up at him.

His fingers brush lightly against your cheek, and the bruise that will surely be there soon. You spot a flicker of guilt in his eyes.

That guilt disappears as you use his distraction to your advantage, flipping the two of you so you’re pinning him now.

Bruce let’s put a low chuckle, and you grin triumphantly, before leaning down and covering his lips with your own.

Bruce’s lips press against your collarbone and you sigh softly. Your fingers tangle in his hair. The moonlight filtering into the room gives him an ethereal glow. You smiles as his lips find yours again, your hand trailing to the back of his neck.

The kiss grows more intense, and you feel the bed shift beneath you as Bruce slowly lowers you down onto it.

You pull back and press a feather-light kiss to his cheek, admiring the way the dim lighting accentuates his sharp cheekbones.

Bruce grins and presses his lips back against your own, a newfound passion in him.

You sigh as Bruce continues ignoring you. You don’t even think he knows he’s doing it. All you had done was talk to another guy in the safe haven, and Bruce had shutdown. Who’d have known that Bruce Wayne could be so jealous?

You go to stand behind him and wrap your arms around him. Your forehead presses against his bare back and you softly press a kiss to his spine.

“Relax. I don’t know if I could leave you, even if I wanted to, Bruce.”

You feel his muscles relax as he turns around.

“You’re stuck with me, Bruce Wayne.”

Outside of your room, the city burns, as maniacs take the streets. But for tonight, in that little room, the only people who matter are you and him.

You three shared a dorm over at Lynchburg College. For months you heard them planning their trip to Florida when they gave you the perfect idea.

You were going on vacations too!

It had just stopped raining when you arrived over to the Gotham Royal hotel, one of the best (if not The best) hotel in the city.

As you checked in, the young man behind the desk gave you a smile as he gave you your keys to your royal suite. You smiled back as you thanked him, the man’s work partner smiles too as she gifts you with a huge basket with your favorite fruits and sweets.

You smile brightly and thank them, walking slowly with both your new basket and your bags over to the elevator.

A few minutes later, you were putting your folded clothes in the closet as the bag laid in the big table.

The room was amazing.

Big with lots of natural light, a big soft bed with silky sheets. A big couch and a tv with also a big table. The bathroom was impressive, with a big bathtub with massage, a shower and fancy comfy towels.

As you finished putting everything on its place you smiled and checked the time.

Hmmm...It's pretty late, so you decided to have a quick breakfast in a good coffee shop you’ve heard non-stop since you arrived.

Gotham Cafe

After that you’ll go sightseeing for a bit and look for a clothe shop or sewing store to buy some new cute fabrics for your new designs.

You never thought you’ll also meet a charming beautiful man there that would steal your heart!

You entered the rather small coffee shop to be greeted by the soft hum of peoples talking and the sweet smell of coffee and freshly made croissants.

You had been kinda busy going over the photos you made about some adorable kittens in Gotham’s park and also a few beautiful flowers you had just seen in books before.

So far you were loving it here!

You had been so distracted that you didn’t see the tall man in a fancy silky suit as you bumped into him, letting out a soft yelp of surprise.

You apologized profusely, embarrassedly looking down at your spilled books as the man tries to calm you as he helps you pick your books.

Quickly as you snatched the last book from the floor, you apologized again and ran to the counter, cheeks burning hot.

Not realizing you had left your Design notebook in the hands of the suited man.

He smiled.

“Cute.” He grins as he pulls his bowler hat on his head and walks to the counter  too, being immediately greeted as he peeped on your book.

As you finished ordering your french toast and Orange juice the man  from before coughed softly as he smirked.

“ Hello, miss (l/n)” He greeted, charmingly.

You jumped a bit surprised as you turn to him. Your cheeks blush as you stare at the handsome man.

He had nice brown hair and beautiful eyes behind metal glasses that framed his eyes, nice cheekbones and a breath-taking smirk.

You let a flustered shy “Hello” back

“Nice going, (n/n)” You thought as you chewed on your lower lip softly.

He let a charming laugh as you smile back.

“ Beautiful designs, I must say. I’ve never seen such beautiful designs.” He smirked.

“T-thank you…?’”You confused looked at him, thinking how would he know. “Wait how did you-” You sighs as he smiles, his knowing eyes telling you you already knew the answer.

And you did, honestly.

He noticed as he smiled and held your book out for you. You blushed harder as you grabbed it from him, your fingers touch for a bit as you two look at each other for a long while.

“ Have someone ever told you that you’re more enchanting that all the words in a book?” He smiled at your flustered state.

“I-Okay, thats kinda cute.” You smiled. “ Almost as cute as your dimples.” You wink, as now he was the one blushing.

“ Oh? Well clearly you must have been told once that you’re more beautiful than any goddess? I will be your worshipper,my queen.” he says, as he kisses your hand. 

You were blushing madly at the last line, as you softly“ Your eyes are like pools i’d love to swim in...such perfection...” You said, as effectively you got lost in his eyes until...

“ Miss, your order” The waitress says kindly as she holds your order for you,. You smile as you thank her, slighty out of it because you were on your fantasyland just now.

The man was waiting for you on a small table, holding a coffee on his hand. You shyly smiled as you took a seat.

“My name’s Edward, Edward Nygma. Thought you may call me Ed.” He smiles. You smile back.

“ I’m (Y/n), (Y/N) (L/n). But you kinda knew.” You smiled sheepishly. He smiles back.

You two talk for what feel like ages. He told you how he was Mayor’s Cobblepot chief of staff. You told him how you were a college student with the dream of becoming a fashion designer. The Two of you bonded over liking Riddles, Reading. Also you complimented him for his suit choice. A very good suit honestly.

He blushed slightly as you smiled at him.

You liked him.

You liked him a lot.

As you listened to Ed talk about his last work you finished your juice and smiled at him. He smiled back.

The two of you keep looking at each others with a complexity behind your eyes as your faces came closer.

Suddenly your phone beeped, breaking you from the fantastic view that was Mr. Nygma.

You blushed madly, coughing to cover for your embarrassment.

“ Im so sorry! I must go, I want to go sightseeing before I look for a sewing store!” You said as you gathered your books.

He got up too as he held the other half of your books and held a hand out for you.

“ Then let me be your guide, I’ll give you the best tour of all of gotham!” He smiled, his eyes light with happiness.

He was nice, cute and handsome so you weren’t going to say no.

“Sure! Sounds very good to me” You smiled as you hold to his arm.

That’s what your thoughts were as him and you went out of the sewing store, he holding your bags with the new fabric like a gentleman. You smiled, thinking what a wonderful day it had been.

First he had taken you to an even more impressive than the Gotham’s garden. Then he took you around main street and the business there. After he saw you looking with a bright smile at a tv showing an ice skating competition, he took you to Gotham’s ice ring. Where, with his connections, you were able to skate for a bit.

You smiled at him, cheeks rosy as he talked about how he wishes to soon see your work completed. You smiled at him and told him he would be the first to see, to which he gave you a weird deep look that you brushed back.

“ I should go back to the hotel, it’s almost dinner time” You frown, wishing to stay with him a little while longer.

“Oh! How about we go to a nice italian restaurant I know? It’s the best in the city, besides I want to spend more time with you. You're so...fascinating” He smiles. You blush and chew your lip.” My treat” He kisses your hand sweetly, his beautiful eyes look into yours and you knew the answer.

“ Sure! sounds perfect to me!”

But let’s be honest, no one can say No to his cuteness.

He smiles as he guides you to his car.

In the end took you to beautiful restaurant, which looked really expensive for a college student. It smelled wonderful in there, as if they took a slice of Italy back into Gotham.

You and him took seat in the best table of the restaurant. Still chattering over the last scientific theories you had read about.

While you effusively tells him about your personal favorite, on his imagination, his dark side materialized next to you, he whispered to him his deepest desires of keeping you and never letting you go. About how perfect you were for each others. How beautiful and smart you were.

You could keep with his talks.

And he really, really loved that.

As he looked at you with lovestruck eyes the food arrived.

Before his dark self disappeared it kissed your cheek as you held your plate of (f/pasta).

“Don’t let her go, Ed” It smirked at the suited male.

“Oh I won't.” He thought to himself as he smiled sweetly at you. “ I will do everything to make her stay with me.”

After you finished eating, Ed suggested a walk around the property. Turns on the owners had a big beautiful garden full of flowers and plants naturally from the Tuscany of Italy. As you and ed walked around, the moonlight setting a comfortable romantic air, he stopped suddenly, making you bump into his back softly.

“ Sorry, Seems like I like bumping into you, must be magnetism” You joked/flirted. But the seriousness in his face made you stop.

His cool hand touched your cheek sweetly as his hand wrapped around your waist.

“E-edward?” You asked, blushing madly as he pulls you closer.

“ Riddle me this, (Y/n)...” His deep voice says softly, lips brush against yours

“I am just two and two.

I am hot. I am cold.

I am the parent of numbers that cannot be told.

I am a gift beyond measure, a matter of course.

I am given with pleasure when taken by force.

What am I?”

You were so mesmerized by his passionate eyes that your lips parted, tongue dried and cheeks aflame, with a small voice you answered.

“-a K-Kiss-” Your sweet voice said but soon was cut off as his chapped lips slammed into yours in a sweet soft kiss.

Your first kiss.

Oh snap it was wonderful.

You were surprised, nonetheless. But soon your eyelids closed as your hands buried in his soft dark locks, your lips followed his, shyly and nervously. It was quickly wash away as he pulled you flush in an hug, deepening the kiss  as your lips caressed and worshipped each others.

A soft moan escaped from your swollen lips as his forehead joined yours.

“ (Y/N), I like you...i like you so much. I’ve never liked anyone quite like i like you…” He caresses your cheek sweetly, smiling and blushing. Glasses slightly ajar from the kiss. You pull them straight as you smile at his cuteness “ I think-no, I am in love with you. I want to get to know you more, i want to be with you...Please, Would you go with me?” His blush was redder than the roses in the garden, he looked gorgeous with the moonlight caressing his features.

After a bit you smiled, the surprise was quickly changed by love as you kiss his lips chastely.

“ I thought this was already a date, Ed” You winked, making him smile softly and murmur a “yeah, it kinda was” with a sheepish look. “ But Yes. Yes i will. “ You hold his chin as your plump lips kiss his. “ I love you too, Ed.  A lot” His smile was bright and loving as he peppered sweet kisses on your cheeks. “ Thought, you've stolen something from me.” You smirk.

“ Oh yeah? What, my beautiful princess?” He smirks back, hugging you and pulling you close. his lips glued to yours.

“ Riddle me this...If you break me, i do not stop working.  if you touch me, i may be snared. if you lose me, nothing will matter…” You whisper seductive.

He smiles as he pulls you deeply into a kiss.

“ Your heart.” He sighs against your lips as you share a passionate kiss under the moonlight.

‘Tea Party’ Sounds Dumb

Request: Imagine being Jim's daughter and dating Bruce. You guys go swimming one summer day. After a little while Alfred and Jim go looking for you and they find you to in the pool goofing around and being cute?

Author’s Note: I love this request! It’s such a cute idea and honestly I always want more pool requests. Like, if I was Batmom you’d find me at the pool almost 45% of the time. (I know this isn’t a Batmom request but still.) Also, I tried to find a gif from the scene where Bruce is practicing holding his breath but I couldn’t *insert sad emoji*

Y/A/N: Your Aunt’s Name

“Bet I can beat you to the other side!” You say to Bruce as you come up from the water, flipping some hair out of your eyes.

“Uh-huh, okay. We’ll see about that!” Bruce says as he wades over to the closest edge of the pool.

“Mmhmm, we’ll see.” I repeat to myself as I make my way over to where he’s waiting. 

Mentally I go back to all those years I was on the swim team, learning all the different strokes. Of course Freestyle was the easiest and probably the fastest stroke to get me to the other end. However, should I suggest we do something different? Backstroke only? Nah... Maybe later.

“Ready?” Bruce asks as I make my way over to the edge, readying myself to kick off the wall in a minute. 

I haven’t been on the swim team in years, so I might be out of practice, but this doesn’t stop my confidence from overflowing my body as back when I was on the swim team I was always the fastest, the strongest and most diligent swimmer.

“Yeah,” I breathe out as I look to him, waiting for the count-down.

“Okay, go!” 

I push off the wall and lift my right arm up to quickly point it and dive in, I follow with my other arm, making sure to keep my fingers close together with no room for water to flow through and slow me down. I breathe out underwater, turning my head I breathe in and kick my legs as fast as they can go.

I turn my head to the left and look to see Bruce is a little bit ahead of me. Oh hell no. I pick up my pace and urge myself to go faster, making my strokes stronger in hopes to propel myself farther forward with each stroke. 

I focus on my pace and don’t even realize that I’m practically at the other end already. As my fingers bump into the wall I stop my motions and jump up, hands soaring high above my head. “I won!” I let my body fall back into the water, letting the water catch me as my head goes under, letting myself feel the cool embrace of the water latching onto my body. It’s strange how water is so amenable to any form it’s given, any element it interacts with, and yet- I don’t know... it’s just fascinating in a sense.

I hear Bruce from underwater and come up, “what’re you laughing at?” 

“You’re just... cute... you know that?” He says with a tiny blush scorching his cheeks before he splashes a wave of water at me probably in hopes of distracting me from what I’d already seen.

“Hey!” I exclaim as I push a wave of water back at him.

“Do you want to play ‘Tea Party’?” I ask Bruce, stopping his shenanigans as he gives me a quick confused look before asking.

“What’s that?”

“It’s a game where everyone- only the two of us in this case- go underwater and pretend to have a tea party- BUT- BEFORE you say no- it’s to see who can hold their breath the longest.... we did it in swim team.” I quickly explain, not wanting an instant “no” from Bruce because it sounds dumb and pointless.

“No wonder you won- you were on swim team,” he teases “and yeah, sure. It sounds kind of stupid but why not?” I giggle at his words.

“Yeah, it kind of is. But it’s to see how long you can hold your breath and improve, so... yeah.” 

“Ready?”

“Okay... Now!” I jump up to push myself farther underwater due to buoyancy. I try to keep myself underwater by pushing the water up. I grab my little teacup and pretend to drink, putting it back on it’s lovely little saucer which I could imagine perfectly in my head. I try not to laugh as Bruce pretends to drink his tea with his pinky up, all dainty and proper, I could imagine Alfred saying.

Jim Gordon’s POV

“I could’ve sworn they were in here a minute ago Mister Gordon.” Alfred says confused as he looks around.

Questions couldn’t have taken too long to be answered before loud sounds of water splashing and gasps are heard from the pool. I turn back around and see Bruce and my daughter laughing. She hits him on the chest, “You cheated! You made me laugh!”

“Did not! I didn’t force you to do anything,” he taunts from afar as he grabs her wrist, keeping her close to him.

“Uh-huh, okay Mr. Technicality” she smirks at him.

I see Alfred sigh a little, before composing himself. “Uh, Miss Y/N? Your Father is here.” She looks over to us and quickly retracts her hand from it’s prior position and waves.

I wave back, “Your mom told me to pick you up cause apparently Aunt Y/A/N, is coming over for dinner.”

“Oh, okay!” Y/N swims over to the side of the pool and pushes herself out and onto the edge.

“Thank you for having her over” I direct to no one in particular.

“Anytime, Mister Gordon” Alfred responds with a smile as he looks back to me.
