Of course! And thank you! Also, I haven't really been into any Gotham stuff for a while, so apologies if my writing for it is a little rusty.
PLATONIC J-SQUAD WITH CHILD PRODOGY BALLERINA! READER
Ballet has always been a huge part of your life. It's your passion; something you are extremely talented at. So when you're basically taken in by the J-Squad, that fact doesn't change in the slightest.
You don't involve yourself in their schemes much, if ever, unless it's more behind the scenes. You're way too busy with practice and rehearsals. Besides, wanted criminals can't really.
Plus, wanted criminals can't really take up being a professional allerina as a profession, so there's also that.
Speaking of practice, they’re all normally busy coming up with plans and causing chaos in Gotham, so they have a schedule in place for whose turn it is to drop you off and/ or pick you up from practice. That is, unless you’re old enough to where they trust you to drive.
Jonathan is normally the one who brings you to and fro the most since he has a freer schedule than the other two, as well as the fact that he can blend in a lot better since it can be hard for him to be recognised without the scarecrow getup. He does make sure to keep a low profile and ear cloths that make it hard for people to get a good feel for his appearance, just to be safe.
Jonathan is known by the dance studio as well as your friends as your legal guardian. Since he’s way too young to be your dad, you just say he’s your older brother ( Which, in all honesty, he basically is at this point).
When it’s Jerome or Jervis’ turn, they’ll normally wait at a hidden-away spot that you’ll leave the dance studio and head to in order to meet them.
Either that or they’ll get a goon/ hypnotized civilian to get you if they’re way too busy at the moment.
All three of them enjoy listening to both your excited rambles, as well as your frustrated rants, when it comes to how practice went/ has been going. Jerome and Jervis want all the tea, while Jonathan doesn’t really care. He just enjoys hearing you talk.
There is also the facet that all three of them have also, at one point, when discussing with you about your day, asked the question: “ You want me to get rid of them for you?” When speaking about a kid in your class who was especially disruptive, rude, or difficult.
In which you would just respond with “ Nah. It’s fine. The performance is coming up soon anyway, and I really don’t want me and the others to have to spend the next three weeks reworking the whole routine.”
Them going to your performances can also be chaotic sometimes. But they’re always wearing disguises, and at least one of them always attends.
Sometimes, goons even come as well, but that raises the chance of them being noticed, which, if they are, sends the whole theater into a panic, and the show gets canceled, which upsets you, especially if you haven’t gotten the chance to perform yet.
Overall, the three of them can be a real nuisance sometimes, but no matter what, you’ll always have their full support when it comes to your career and ambitions.
