So I'm stating to wonder if I made a mistake... thought dump to get it out of my system:
I started posting my new fic while aggressively working on a follow up to my most recent. After a week of feeling completely lost on how to not let the ending be trash, I *think* I worked most of it out and have been inspired/eager to power through the final arc.
But also, I have to edit this current one that's been just sitting in my drafts docs for months, begging to see the light of day, and I want to give it the time/energy it needs so I don't cringe when I reread it (yes, this is my process for everything I write: word vomit on the page --> read over *cringe* wonder how this will ever be good --> aggressive editing --> 'hey, this is alright')
Hoping this post helps me remember to give it the love/focus it needs, despite my mind trying to hyperfixate on the next project 😅
