wormchamp, i noticed you struggling with your diagnosis, and i don’t know the full story, but you helped me, so i wanna help you!
autism can be very difficult at times, but it’s not all bad! i’ve been diagnosed with autism since i was 9, and i’ve struggled a lot, but my autism has also been beneficial, for example, my special interests drive me and make stuff a little more fun!
like i can look at the ground and see some type of insect and immediately be able to properly classify it
or i can read the ingredients on some random item and know what all the "fancy science words" mean!
autism is a spectrum so it’s not the same for everybody, but what i find beneficial is to figure out where it effects you the most, what do you struggle with due to your autism? is it eating? maintaining eye contact? reading social situations? something else? and then learn how to deal with those (p.s, don’t force yourself to do things that you struggle with, find good ways to get around them)
and then focus on the more positive stuff, like your special interest(s) and doing all sorts of fun stuff relating to it/them!
if you have any questions, i will gladly answer!
fun fact! you can spell "autistic" (AuTiSTiC) on the periodic table! (Gold (Au) Titanium (Ti) Sulphur (S) Titanium (Ti) Carbon (C))
Oh, dearest @spidrbite, I thank you for these words of encouragement during these trying times, and I wish you well on your Journey of Autism.
However, there is just one flaw in this:
I am not "On the Spectrum." It is all a hoax by Denise, my parents, and the Government 2 distract me and give me an identity crisis so they can keep me docile and unaware of their greater plans 2 study me as the greatest mind of the generation.
This, of course, will not work. They failed 2 take in2 account the one flaw that is also the very reason they needed 2 create this plan---I am a genius of boundless intellect. Naturally, I caught on2 this plan. Before initiating a battle of wits, one must size up the intellect of their opponent and see if they have met their match. And clearly, the government has met theirs.
Much love 2 those ON and off the Spectrum of Autism,
