Idk why man, she just gives off really strong Persephone energy, you know? Like, when I picture Persephone, I just picture her. I can’t quite put a finger on why though...

Fate #2: Gelsey Bell

I bet you though I was gonna be lazy and just do Shaina Taub! Well you were wrong! (Not that I don’t love Shaina. Indeed, I like her enough to use her later)

I’ve been listening to Under a Piano (Gelsey’s album from like 2005) way too much recently not to use her. Also, fun fact: two different ladies who has played fate #2 have also played roles originated by Gelsey (the aforementioned Shaina Taub, and Kira Guloien who played Pearl in the Canadian premiere of ghost quartet)

Fate #1: Phillipa Soo

I know very little about Hamilton (sue me) but her character in that’s in a lady trio that probably does harmonies, right?

Hermes: Shaina Taub

I think i saw someone suggest this once, and I was like yes! Her and Andre have both played musical theatre versions of Feste so it’s perfect. If you haven’t listened to her musical version of twelfth night, you should!

(I’m not sure how the Hermes being a parental figure to Orpheus thing would work with a younger Hermes, but whatever)

Eurydice: Denée Benton

Soft sad baby goes to hell! (I also wasn’t 100% certain who to put here. There were a few different contenders, but I ended up putting them in different slots)

Orpheus: Brittain Ashford

I just imagined her singing If It’s True (The original version, not the crappy Broadway one that’s way less emotional), and now I’m dead! Hopefully my one true love Brittain Ashford Orpheus will come and save me from the underworld!
