I see that Deliah was a talon and stuff, was she ever adopted by Bruce though? What’s more of her story?

Deliah wasn’t adopted by Bruce. Bruce hadn’t really found out about Deliah until Dick was much older. A couple weeks before the accident the circus had been in Europe near a relative of the Grayson’s. Deliah had gotten too sick to travel before Haly’s had to leave for Gotham so she stayed in Europe with her relatives to get better. She wasn’t able to get to Gotham until nearly a week after the accident with her and Dick’s parents. The Court, seeing as their original ‘Talon’ was taken, then began to train Deliah in her twin’s stead.

Around the time she was 10 the snake charmer at the circus had a one night stand with an unknown man (the Joker) and had twins. The mother was not prepared for children at all so she’d have Deliah babysit them, which lead to the child practically raising the twins, while she went and was a horrible adult. Once Deliah had turned 18, Jerome and Jeremiah now being 8, she set out to adopt the boys. The ringmaster had helped her collect evidence that she’d been the one taking care of the boys as well as evidence of the mothers history with infidelity, drug and alcohol abuse, as well as live testimony from the twins testifying to their birth mother’s abuse.

Around the time she was 20 Deliah started an unhealthy on again/off again relationship with Victor Zsasz that inevitably ended only three years later after she had met Kate Kane through her twin after confiding in him about the strain of the relationship. She and Kate have been together since. Jean-Paul Valley came into the picture when she was roughly 24/25 during college classes. They started out as friends, confidantes, then became roommates.

After a couple years Deliah had asked Kate if they could try adding JP to things and extended an offer to him. They gave it a shot and have been a throuple since. They didn’t have the best communication at first so whereas Kate knew Deliah was a Talon until recent years Jean-Paul did not. Deliah also hadn’t know JP was Azrael or had ever interacted with that side of her partner.

About a year ago now in story line Dick convinced Deliah to leave the court with her boys and she did. She and JP got a new apartment, Jeremiah had already had his own place, and Jerome had chosen to stay with the circus at least until he was 20. Then came the events of Jerome killing his birth mother most recently (at age 19) and getting sent to Arkham.

Jerome and Jeremiah’s stories follow the same events as what happened in the 2014 series Gotham.
