Emily Skaja's poetry spoke to my wounded heart. The words were hurting, making the scar itch. I wanted to hug the girl who was fighting this darkness by herself and tell her that everything will be alright in the end. Show her that she deserved to stay alive. I can't change the past but I can thank her now because she somehow dragged her shattered soul and body forward.
