The only thing that may stop him is if said evil triangle possesses an infected (the triangle canonically has possessed zombies) to harass ford, but that also might just make ford more effective at killing infected idk.

How would they have handled the Firefly hospital massacre:

Probably would’ve been like “what do you mean the operation will be fatal? Are you amateurs? I have 12 phds and a metal plate in my head give me the scalpel.” And then he would not only keep Ellie alive but he would also formulate a cure for infection. But then he would get a massive ego and it would be horrible.
