Hello, Anon! Thanks so much for sending it in, and I hope you enjoy! I had a lot of fun writing this :)
It was one of the hottest days of the year and their air conditioner was broken. For the Lon family, as it would be for probably any family, this was miserable news, but only for a little while.
Twilight remembered their old Zora Slide, which was brought out posthaste when it was determined to still be in good condition. Sky hooked the hose up to the Zora Slide, and Warriors and Twilight laid it out and straightened it for optimum sliding. Once it was set up, the boys all raced to get into their swim trunks and grab some towels.
"Race you there; last one's a rotten egg!" Green hollered as he ran full-tilt out the door. Unfortunately, the door was only so big and, thus, could only allow so many through, so a minor brawl broke out as each of the eleven boys pushed and shoved his way through the door in an attempt to not be last. Even Wolfie got in on it, shoving his fuzzy face into every weak spot the boys had.
Eventually, they all got to the slide. Because Warriors got there last, it was determined that he would be the last one to go down the slide. Thankfully, Warriors wasn't super invested in going first.
Two hours later, the boys were drenched, muddy, and ready for lunch.
“Not on my freshly cleaned floors, young men,” Mom said, raising her Eyebrow of Doom. “Y’all need to clean your feet up in the mud room before you come walkin’ into the house proper.” And so, with much groaning from some of the younger boys (Wild, Hyrule, and Wind, primarily), they all set to getting their feet cleaned up.
“Hang on, we almost forgot to let Wolfie back in,” Twilight said before opening the door and calling for his dog. Excited barking preceded the excitable husky barreling in.
“Oh no, you boys are cleaning him up, too, before he goes and gets everything filthy,” Mom declared.
“Yeah, Mom, I will, don’t worry. Come on, Wolfie, back ou—Wolfie, no!” Twilight exclaimed as Wolfie slipped past him and ran into the house. “Catch him!”
Everyone ran around as they corralled Wolfie, but once he was cornered, he changed his stance. Everyone’s eyes widened.
“Wolfie, no! Not in the hou—!”
