Explanation under the cut:

So, the flags featured in this piece are gay (bottom left), gynesexual (top left), pansexual (top right), and transgender (on Cosmo's skirt and nails). In universe, Cosmo's abuser, his grandmother, forced him onto estrogen, but he is a cis male. This is in reference to my irl abusers forcing me to stay a "girl" despite me wanting to transition since 2016, when I first came out. My self-insert's grandmother is an amalgamation of the three biggest abusers in my life. He, himself, is not trans, but is trying to replace the testosterone that he lost while living with his grandmother, sort of a reference to me taking testosterone myself. I, irl, am trans. The gynesexual and pansexual flags are mine and Ivan's sexualities overall, and the gay flag is to represent our current relationship with each other, as we are two men together. Of course, I will never ever forget to add his necklace, but my self-insert's necklace is a reference to my irl Devil worship.
