Haikyuu is finally back and I’m so glad I am able to catch it this time around! I got into the fandom way after season 3 ended so there are no words to express how giddy I am. Episode 1 had been awesome (especially Tsukki’s reactions; I live for them).
Unfortunately, the OVA disappointed me.... I had expected it ever since I heard how short it would be, and there’s just too much to cram into two short episodes. This scene though - Akaashi asking Bokuto if he has recovered from his slump - was one of those moments I had looked forward the most, but it wasn’t included at all. Which is a shame really, because The Tokyo Battle is my favorite Haisute so far and it made me love that brief period of time between the Miyagi qualifiers and the training camps.
