nonbinary/genderfluid/trans-masculine Legolas because I had never seen a male character who was allowed to be so so emotional and playful and openly affectionate with his friends and who did not have a beard and had long hair and was called pretty and spoke of his grief like it was an important part of life and not something to be ashamed of and who could be scared. I was growing up in a cult with no internet or access to any information on being trans* (except for the occasional transphobia) and Legolas became a lifeline to me, and remains so both for being trans and also for being autistic <3 and then I invented entire elven societies that were different about gender but without any words/language for it

*mentioning because the first time I heard someone say the word 'transgender' was in university and I think my heart skipped a beat because I was finally seeing I wasn't entirely alone <3

Ok so im genuinely confused abt smthn. like if an elf has human ancestors, they can choose a mortal life right??? but elros’ descendants couldn’t choose an immortal life right??? surely theres an answer rightttt??????

ALSO! if elros chose a mortal life did he still have pointy ears? or did he have them in the first place? who decides which ears ur gonna have if ur halfelven?

I have this kinda idea that while full blood elves walk on snow without a trace, half-elves leave foot prints.

This left me realising that if it ever snows in Valinor, everyone will know whenever Elrond has been around.

Or later potentially one of his sons - because they SAIL. And no one can tell me otherwise.
