Celebrían | Lady of Rivendell and Lothlórien | Daughter of Lord Celeborn and Lady Galadriel
‘…She was a mix of her parents’ features, eyes that were piercing which held an air of strength. But even with that, they glowed with a softer edge. A sort of humbleness and aura that made her heart slow down to a normal pace and could make anyone feel a little bit more homely and comforted.’
- Description of Celebrían from Chapter 15 of Changing of The Song (Tolkien/Marvel Crossover).
I love Celebrían as a character but it’s quite difficult to write her that doesn’t make her too soft and easily kind - compared to her mother who I’ve always have given the air of pride and ambition. She has that balance of being a very firm leader but also a motherly view to her, with a touch of innocence and light that reflects so well in canon through her children (especially with Arwen).
I decided to give her silver wavy hair to at least give her some resemblance from her father’s side. And since she’s actually Queen of the Noldor in my story, she wears the colours and the nice golden circlet to just give that girlboss vibes.
At the moment, she hasn’t done that much in the story, but honestly - she’s going to get a good spotlight in the future, especially when it comes to defending her family.
