I want to sell my hametz to my non-Jewish husband for Passover and I know that there’s a weird way that it’s done (like even though I’m “selling” the hametz I think that I actually give my husband some amount of money to “keep” it during Passover?) When I try to look it up I just get a lot of orthodox info about how legal transactions need to be done with the involvement of a rabbi and for my situation that’s just not necessary. Does anyone do this themselves and have advice on the process?
