it was supposed to be over… but i’m enjoying Beyond Repair (by manofthepipis on ao3) too much… there’s the barest hint of an idea for a long Spamtenna fic simmering in the back of my brain and it’s 60% plot 40% Tenna and Spamton beating the snot out of each other and having the messiest gut-punch of a slow burn get back together known to man, while also trying not to die or kill each other.
i need the most intense fic that feels like chewing on candy-cane splinters. they need to crash out at each other so hard and then turn around and fall to their knees crying and begging the other not to leave them. i need it to be MESSY

Spamton is crawling through the vents for some reason#the phone starts ringing again and Tenna picks it up.#it’s The Phone Guy *dun dun dun*#they start talking about a deal (Tenna wasn’t supposed to survive etc etc they’re tryna twist the prophecy or fix it idk yet#but Tenna doesn’t know the prophecy) and Tenna is listening#Spamton hears Tenna on the phone and busts out of the vents to hang it up and tell him NOT TO TAKE THE DEAL#cue Tenna freaking out and getting upset cause what if that was his shot!! who is this little creature!!!!#and then he tries to catch Spamton or get rid of him because There’s A Rat On The Set! and they get into a scuffle#that’s the start of it. or what i’ve got rn#Tenna refuses to believe that Spamton is Spamton for a while of course. gotta have that in there#Spamton wants to take advantage of Tenna to maybe get back in on the Deal but also protect him and be with him again#Tenna worries if the lightners are actually gonna find him a new home or if he’s gonna end up being obsolete and trashed again so#he’ll take just about anything#they despise each other they want to use each other they love each other they want to feel safe in each other’s arms and trust the other to#not stab them in the back#at some point Tenna looks through a shadow crystal or otherwise sees the [Light]#and is permanently scarred by it mentally and/or physically
