After spending 6 weeks in quarantine at the pet shop I finally got to bring little Leo home. He’s a strong swimmer, despite losing most of his tail in a filter inlet, and an overall happy betta 😃
Everyone meet Haku I'll probably refer to him as river to everyone because no one in the real world knows anime. I'm in love with him and his color. I hope he is happy.
To the people that are concerned for my betta's wellbeing:
I keep him as clean and healthy as I can. I give him the certain food he needs with vitamins and color enhancer as well as the regular food he enjoys. When I first got him he wasn’t eating as far as I could see, and it broke me heart. He just recently started eating when I’m around. I’ve been doing all I can to help him be happy.
I understand what you were saying about not keeping him in a bowl because they’re small, but my bowl is I believe 4 gallons, and he has a lot of room to swim around. I do not have the money to get a larger tank as I haven’t been able to find a job after I lost my last one. I’m trying my hardest for my little one and my cory cat that is in a separate tank. Please do not ridicule me about how I keep my fish. I’m trying to do my best to keep him happy and healthy.

When I got home from work yesterday I noticed that he made a bubble nest in the corner of his tank. I guess he was trying to tell me that he’s all settled and happy. :)
Well Ven got his tank cleaned and is very happy. I still have a bunch of packing to do, most of my clothes are in the washer. XD I'm still trying to decide if I want to take my Wii or not (I would just bring it without a problem if I wasn't taking a plane back). It's super hot already and it's just noon. D: No liking hot weather! Wanting cool temperatures back!
