Coming up on the last couple of weeks of my undergrad! Desperately trying to cram in every last experience I can; technical and otherwise. It's been a blast, but I'm exhausted.
(So, you know. Business as usual! )

This picture's kinda old and the background (my desk) isn't clean and I'm not answering today's prompt for @joystudie 's study challenge BUT I'm posting anyways bc I said I would + done is rn better than perfect.

Tues: What's your biggest tip to avoid cabin fever?
I don't really know for this one. I guess I try to call my friends, and play games at the end of the day if I can. Just engaging with people and things outside my own head seems to be enough for me, as I'm kind of introverted anyways.
How to Avoid a $150,000+ PCBA Nightmare: The Power of First Article Inspection (FAI)
Ever imagined discovering a critical component defect after mass production has already churned out thousands of boards? The financial fallout, wasted time, and reputational damage can be catastrophic.
In professional electronics manufacturing, First Article Inspection (FAI) is your ultimate first line of defense. It’s the meticulous verification process that checks the initial 3-5 units of a production run to ensure everything—from trace widths to component polarity—completely matches your BOM and Gerber files.
Whether you are designing for high-reliability sectors like medical, automotive, or aerospace (where standards like AS9102/AS9100 kick in), skipping FAI is a gamble you don't want to take.
What we break down in our latest engineering guide:
The FAI Process: From design document reviews to functional testing.
Verification Methods: Photo verification vs. deep sample testing.
FAI vs. PPAP: Knowing the difference between aerospace and automotive quality systems.
The FAIR: Why the First Article Inspection Report is non-negotiable for traceability.
Don't let an undocumented design change or an SMT alignment drift turn into a massive batch recall. Invest in verification before you hit "mass production."

The Engineering Behind Automated M-Series Connector Assembly: SMD vs. THR
In the world of industrial hardware and PCB design, M-series circular connectors (M8/M12) are the undisputed backbone of data and power transmission. But as modern manufacturing pushes toward 100% automated lines, traditional board-mount connectors often become a frustrating production bottleneck.
If you are currently routing a board or optimizing an assembly line, the big question is: Should you choose SMD (Surface Mount Device) or THR (Through-Hole Reflow)?
Let’s break down the technical paradigm. 👇
Discover how SMD and Through-Hole Reflow (THR/PIP) technologies revolutionize M-series circular connector assembly. Learn the key design rul
