5 Minute Writing Challenge
I was tagged by @ciriouslydalishious to come up with something for the 5 Minute Writing Challenge!
It’s really tough having to resist editing, ugh!
POST-TRESPASSER WARNING:
Snow falls, melts, then trees are blossoming. The sun heats the earth, and the world turns; another year.
“Still hiding?” Nyriel calls, another night in the Fade beginning. She can’t see him, but his presence is everywhere, lingering in the shadows. She knows it’s him because the demons that had first plagued her dreaming have now long-scattered into the distance. Everything seems sharper at the edges too, somehow.
Slowly, the wolf makes itself known. It shifts behind a shadowy pillar, and then she sees him, for the first time in another year, and it takes all her restraint not to run to him.
She doesn’t have to.
His arms surround her in an instant, barriers are crushed between bodies and lips meet in a desperate, silent, plea.
“Please, stop,” he whispers, between kisses.
“Only when you do,” she responds, taking a hand in his.
I’m tagging @grievous-girl, @brelakor, @obsidianmichi, @ciriouslydalishious (again, because your writing deserves to be shared!)
