The Harihara fan base strikes again

Oh yea Ik about this.

It is very apparent too because Shiva has only two fused forms. One with Shakti (Ardhanarishwar) and the other with Vishnu (Harihar).

It only makes sense that Vishnu and Shakti are siblings, and hence they might be considered one entity sometimes. Same goes for this entire trio. Shiva-Shakti-Vishnu considered three different forms of a singular entity.

Honestly the best thing to come out of post-Vedic and contemporary Hinduism is this trio for me. They're soooo interesting.

So my mum was telling the story of the Harihar in Nabadwip to my relatives and qhen she mentioned how Shiva was in ecstasy from kirtan that he spun so much he merged into Vishnu I just sat there thinking that was pretty gay

(I mean this feels like one of the more hetero things they've done I don't think they can top making Ayyappan lol)

There is a saying in the Puranas - "Shiva is the heart of Vishnu, and Vishnu is the heart of Shiva", so I had an idea:

One day, Vishnu felt nauseous.

Laksmi: Are you pregnant?

But Vishnu shook his head calmly: No, it's just that he wants to come out.

Laksmi: Then why didn't you let him out?

Vishnu: Because he is my heart.
