My Batman hot take is that Jason should have never moved into being a Punisher type of character and instead remained a tragic villain and the other batfamily members shouldn’t have welcomed him back with such open arms
Not only has Jason been repeating effectively the same boring story since New 52, but the batfamily core ethos is that killing is unacceptable and that it is the ultimate sin (see both Dick and Tim having breakdowns over thinking they accidentally killed people even though they didn’t), so having Jason be on good terms with then is just not in character for them at all (the pre-new 52 dynamic was, unsurprisingly, where it was best)
Someone's asking in my inbox and I can't find it through archive: does anyone have that post where people talk about moments where they knew they were dead if they didn't get medical help *immediately*? Something something "it's like a timer suddenly starts above your head"
there was a scene in The Residence (great show, go watch it if you want a really fun whodunnit) where a character was telling her love interest about her fears and anxieties and stuff, and while she was baring her soul, i was getting really mad at the guy she was talking to for not saying anything or trying to comfort her or call her down. and then the woman was like "he didnt try to comfort me or calm me down or do any of those annoying things men do when they want you to stop having feelings"
and i was like. oh god. not only am i a man apparently. im an ANNOYING man????????
self isolation is great until you need a plumber recommended to you
