someone literally tried to kill me, as in they straight up said they intended to end my life and then attempted to do it, for being transmasc on school property, in front of multiple witnesses, it's honestly a miracle i wasn't badly physically injured but i was terrified and crying and hyperventilating and i've had nightmares about it for almost a year now.

the school refused to do anything about it because there "wasn't any proof" despite the multiple witnesses, said that it couldn't possibly be because im trans because im not a trans woman, basically said that the primary witness was too biased to be accurate because they're nonbinary and were perisex amab/socially imposed male so both their transness and socially imposed gender were treated as signs they weren't accurate, but i still got in trouble because i admitted to kicking my would-be murderer in the shins in self defense while they were actively trying to kill me.

This is transandrophobia and exorsexism. That's terrifying and I am so sorry that happened to you. I am infuriated that the severity of the situation was not taken seriously. The people who tried to harm you should not have gone unpunished, and the fact that YOU got in trouble for it is genuinely unhinged.

You do not need to be transfem to be hatecrimed. All forms of genderqueerness are hatecrimed. I would know - my system was extremely violently hatecrimed (and left permanently disabled physically and mentally) due to one of our headmates (the host at the time) being transmasc.
