Seeing people ship a character from source with his abusive ex just feels so uncomfortable to me. I get people will ship what they want to ship but I actually Knew The Guy and he would Not Say Any Of That
- It was an arranged marriage for political reasons. They barely knew each other aside from letters they were forced to write.
- The man was the GAYEST man I have ever seen. He was often seen kissing other men at the local tavern, so much so that he had several paintings with peacock feather motifs commissioned (the cultural equivalent of a pride flag at the time)
- He would complain, NONSTOP, about how awful his fiancée was. Mostly to me, since my studio was apparently a safer space than the place he lived
- It literally got so bad that I started trying to resort to magic to get him out of there
- She Literally Killed Him
Anyway. Yeah. I get people like the ship but like… they don’t know him like I do.
