On my side, Raysplash, I'm working on what I call the Hawkfrost Wins AU and plan to maybe write or expand on it if people show enough interest. Basic idea is that Hawkfrost succeeds in killing Firestar against Brambleclaw's will. Ashfur, watching, kills the spying Leafpool. Squirrelflight and a patrol show up to find their deputy looking rather incriminated and Squirrelflight kills him on the spot. Ash advocates for her rise to power and ends up controlling Squirrelstar via manipulation.

Woah this sounds hella Interesting! Who will be Squirrelstar's deputy? Is it Ashfur, and omg if it's ashfur will he become leader?

missed opportunities in warriors

- goldenflower and tigerstar’s relationship being further explored, especially after his betrayal - alderheart and needletail’s friendship especially after her death - hollyleaf - redtail and sandpaw/storm’s bond - thistleclaw/snowfur (+ whitestorm?) - onestar having a better redemption arc instead of that shitty one and then completely throwing it out the window with crowfeather’s trial (ik it was set before the apology but it was also set before darktail returned so onestar didnt exactly have a good reason for his behavior towards his own clan). there’s no point having a redemption if u just ruin it with the next book - tawnypelt’s leadership (a ”i dont need to kill to be leader” thing. like c’mon erins) - any cat who witnesses death at a young age (dovewing, dustpelt, etc), especially of those close to them, actually having it affect them in the future - hawkfrost - ashfur - dark forest. just. them. being explored a bit more. do they love? do they care about each other? what’s their deal - twigbranch not having kits - spottedleaf’s heart just not existing lmao - briarlight and jayfeather’s friendship - ANY disabled wc who was forced to become a med cat or elder feel free to rb and add more
