Redhood, ‘hood’ isn’t a documented last name but it does fit the suffix mold because it could be a pattern (like mask, stripe, face) so he gets it too good job Jason
Bluebird is also a valid name—so is Batwing, shout out to the Batfamily being the ones who get the concept! Makes sense because you know furries and also Selina must have that influence on them.
now Red Robin, Black Bat, Black Canary, and Blue Beetle I’m on the fence about because while there ARE some instances of animal names used as suffixes they are almost exclusively used for prefixes, so the names are like, fringe.
An interesting debate is whether Bumblebee actually counts, because though Bumble as a prefix is only used for Bumblestripe, which is obviously a reference to a bee, bee is also used as a suffix, so it does, technically, work. Good job, Karen.
Another one I’m on the fence about is Quicksilver (either marvel or DC works for this one) because Quick is definitely a prefix, but silver is mostly used as a suffix like other colors. I guess it probably falls into the category of the animal names.
Starfire is VERY CLOSE but ‘star’ is only used for leader suffixes, not as part of names.
Honorable mention to Hawkeye from Marvel because Clint also NAILED IT like Dick and Bette in terms of names that could be in the books and you wouldn’t blink.
And then Bucky who falls into the same category as Tim, Ted & Jaime, Dinah, and Cass with White Wolf.
However neither Mantas or Panthers seem to be things acknowledged in the Warriors universe so T’challa and Orin are outta luck.
However, before I go, I want to present a cursed take. Considering the existence of Deadfoot (windclan deputy in 1st series) and all the cats with the suffix, like Ivypool, Deadpool is technically a valid Warrior cat name.
Make of that knowledge what you will.

Now, my experience of DC is limited to fan content of Young Justice television series and whatever I’ve picked up from the adjacent birdflash/batfam gateway, plus whatever my social media dredges up related to these topics. E.g. very piecemeal. Tell me if there are more names. Complete the list. I must know.
I fully believe, also, that the character who is Deeply aware of all of this is Damian Wayne, who owns every single Warrior Cats book. It’s canon to me.
