Another fun fact: if Lucifer and Alastor stood next to each other, their sleeves would form full hearts. AHAAAH… okay bye.

@official-alastor
"Great Alastor altruist died for his friends"
The look on Alastor's face when he says that
He looks haunted, shaken, disturbed, and horrified by it
I've been joking about Alastor accidentally-ing himself into caring about the other characters
But on some level, it seems that it did happen
And he HATES it
It terrifies him
Perhaps it's because Alastor understands that on some level this proves him wrong, sinners are not beyond hope, there is a chance to be better, and that's bad for him because it's easy to revel and wallow in being an evil monster when there's no hope of being anything else, but when there isn't, well, that means Alastor might have to face who he is and what he's done
Alternatively, Al wants to be a horrible monster, feared hated and infamous, and if he becomes some kind and benevolent person, even to just those he considers friends, it's a chip in his reputation and the persona he wants to be seen as
Or perhaps Al's breakdown is because if he cares about anyone, then that's a weakness someone can exploit, another string holding him back, something he's desperate to not have
Okay, I've made so many analysis posts on Vincent/Vox, but even I can't lay down a concete reason for this sudden switch in Vincent's composure between these two scenes.
Seriously, LOOK AT HIM-
What the FUCK happened between these two scenes??
What the hell made Vincent lose his fucking sanity so quick that we didn't see, like HUH?! And we already know Brighter parrells Vox's storyline in S2, so, like, SERIOUSLY WHAT HAPPENED HERE?!
There's so much more to this that we didn't get to see this is not the end of Vox's backstory.
Okay, so...
For those of us who believe that Rosie is Roo (or at least associated in some way) and Roo and Eve are one in the same...
Then what do we think about Alastor killing all the older Overlord but NOT Zestial, who a lot of people believe is Cain?
Just a coincidence, orrrrr...
We know Zestial is the oldest Overlord. From a writing standpoint, it's interesting that Alastor spoke to Zestial about his absence and not, say, this dapper fellow.
Look at this guy. I love this guy. ANYWAY!
The vibrant greens of Alastor’s magic matches Zestial, and they both have similar stitching.
Also, to me, it makes more sense as to why Alastor was nervous in this scene, if he knows who Zestial is but not what Zestial knows about him.
I'm not even fully convinced that Zestial is Cain, but this is a good argument for that being the case. Also, it'd be funny if Adam and Abel went to heaven, meanwhile Eve and Cain are chilling in hell, all moisturized and unbothered. Rosie and Zestial also have lil matching skulls on their big ol’ hats.
So that’s fun :3
(Also someone in Twitter mentioned Rosie's line about eating her first husband is extra funny if you think she's Eve, so I figured I'd share that)
I like how logically executioner Alastor works really well but in the context of the show it'd probably never happen. It requires a lot less bad blood between Alastor and Lucifer, as well as a different direction for Lucifer as a character. Definitely feels like something Alastor would be down for with the proper convincing and the right conditions, but Lucifer wouldn't fuck with it. Unfortunately in the overarching story's context it doesn't have a lot of narrative strength, there aren't many places to take this dynamic outside of getting rid of the Vees, which I think we're seeing a build up for the Vees to be their own downfall (heavily instigated by Alastor)
However I am lwk crossing my fingers cause I really wanna see Lucifer pull Alastor out like a pokemon
Like. I want Alastor to get close to Lucifer to try and manipulate him, but accidentally start to like him to the point of true distress. I want him to save him from something that wouldn’t even really hurt Lucifer but definitely does hurt Al, and not be entirely sure why.
I want him to get to know Lucifer and be like “you’re just? a lame dad????”
I want him to see the reflection of what little goodness still remains in himself, in Lucifer’s eyes, and hate it with all his being.
… and THEN i want them to just be Bert and Ernie for the rest of the show.
Theories and hot takes I have on HH.
Lucifer knows where Lilith is. (I personally think they got into a huge fight and she left him.)
Lucifer and Liliths marriage has been on the rocks for a long time.
Charlie was a fix the marriage baby.
Husk and Angel not becoming full canon in season 2 was a good thing. Angel needs to get away from Valentino or he'll keep running back to him. Hurting Husk in the process.
Lucifer will sacrifice himself in some way in coming seasons.
Someone else will be redeemed from the group.
Not interested in Roo.
Vox never loved Alastor. He's a narcissistic sociopath with a god like complex who doesn't have the capacity to love anyone but himself.
He 100% assaulted Alastor.
Obsession is not love.
Don't personally care that much about Lilith, more interested in Lucifers backstory and how he felt becoming the King of hell and his thoughts on sinners. Did he always hate them? Or did he try to give them a chance?
I think Alastor will change his mind on sinners.
Alastor and Lucifer will become close friends.
Michael will get an introduction. Which leads me back to Lucifer sacrificing himself, possibly fighting Michael to save hell?
Characters like Charlie are exceedingly selfish and blow past boundaries because what she thinks she's doing is 'right.'
Lucifer is the most interesting Morningstar.
Husk will break his contract with Alastor.
Lilith will either die or go back to heaven.
