domestic frazeleo is so very special so here are my thoughts #mythots on the bedroom situation

frank: would looooove to share a bed with hazel and leo but he'll get too warm and die sharing a bed with two other people. hazel and leo like how warm he is tho he's like a human heating pad so they wouldn't mind. but he also likes sleeping in dog form so to compromise he can shapeshift into a dog and sleep on the pillow or something. before bed leo does that "ragebaiting your dog" thing to frank and frank can't easily suppress his dog instincts so he usually falls for it a couple of times before getting mad and kicking leo in the head with his paws. meanwhile hazel is like Leo it's bedtime stop riling up the dog!

leo: 100% down to share a bed with hazel and frank and being double spooned by them is Euphoric for him like he might be so happy about it and feel such disbelief that TWO people he likes are holding him that he'll have trouble falling asleep he's just too happy and overwhelmed by what it feels like to be loved by others in that way. and he might not even want to fall asleep because he wants to consciously enjoy the feeling of being held. unfortunately he's fidgety and moves around a Lot in his sleep and would feel guilty about waking them up so given his self-sacrificing nature he might evict himself from the bed so frank and hazel can sleep in peace 💔

hazel: doesn't really want to share a bed with two guys even if she's dating them. in general she would like having her own separate bedroom and values her privacy. also one of her weird plutogirl habits is that she likes to sleep on the floor sometimes and frank is a princess who requires a nice comfortable bed to fall asleep so he can't do that with her. but leo has experience sleeping in odd places so he could easily join her on the floor sometimes. however frank is petty and gets jealous easily so if hazel and leo are sleeping on the floor together he'll get mad and get his most plush sleeping bag and all of his nicest pillows and set it up on the floor to join them

conclusion: sharing a bed is kind of a bust so it very rarely happens but they can sleep on the floor and nap on the couch sometimes 🙂‍↕️

A really funny frazeleo dynamic would be Frank and Leo having met years ago and having that childhood first love kind of thing then losing track of one another and all but forgetting about it.

And the payoff here isn’t so much that relationship in itself but at the end of Son of Neptune when Leo’s video scroll comes in and both Frank and Hazel are like 😱

Tweaking things a little so that when the trio found Hazel’s old drawings and photos in her house in Alaska, Frank either doesn’t get a good look since he’s distracted by Hazel being upset, so he didn’t put it together then. Or he only partially recognizes the face and is reminded of someone he knew when he was younger and maybe mentions it to try to lighten the mood.

So now back at camp with no distractions and a clear image, Frank’s just like wait… that’s my girlfriend’s first boyfriend…. and my first boyfriend…. and he’s sailing here right now…

And Leo comes into all this blind, his childhood was traumatic, he remembers jackshit about all that.

So now he’s got this weird pair of Romans all but staring at him through binoculars and discussing their findings in tense whispers. They’re trying to figure out which of their ex’s this guy actually is, if those two are even different people, and like, what to do about all that.

Frank’s losing his mind with jealousy, over Hazel and over Leo and he doesn’t even know how to tell the feelings apart.

Hazel’s like ‘I know I helped Gaea almost end the world, but seriously, what did I do to deserve this bullshit?’

And Leo’s straight up disturbed by all these new Roman guys and wondering how Jason ended up so normal in comparison.

Not sure how it would end aside from a lot of hurt feelings, confusion and grief when it becomes clear to Frank and Hazel that only one of them is getting back someone they cared about. But a lot of silly identity shenanigans along the way.
