Homesick Soundtrack - 04. Homesick
Nocturno en sol menor, por Fanny Mendelssohn (1838). Versión de Heather Schmidt en piano.
Homesick is a short emotional interactive puzzle story with a soundtrack made of golden beauty and grace. I remember coming across this game on twitter while looking at various solo projects made on Unreal, and for what it’s worth, it’s a beautiful, emotional struggle with a somber tone that made me constantly on the verge of crying. If you don’t want the game, then at least get the soundtrack. It’s a masterpiece.

Here's my web series pilot. Now on to the next project!
The Production of The Resurgence of Nina Pilot
With reuniting Tommy Culhane and Heather Schmidt, who I cast in Film Sanctuary previously in the year, and working again with Ian Stewart as DP, it was kind of like a mini Film Sanctuary reunion.

The art director, Cody Karbum, really brought the set to life. When I saw the skeleton of the set, which was just built walls that weren't painted, it was hard to see the apartment I had imagined. After people pitched in pieces of art to throw up on the walls I was really impressed with how it turned out.

Working with all those guys, and the rest of the crew was a dream. The crew was small, but efficient all on accounts. We started with a 3 hour hiccup, where we started shooting on a DSLR (5D MKIII), which we found to be problematic for one reason or the other. Quickly we switched to the RED ONE and the production for day one zipped along smoothly.

Generally when the first day ends on time and or early it seems to be that the next day will end a few hours late. We finished two hours early, some how. I credit the early time to my actors and crew who were just there best game.

Overall the production was a great experience where i learned a lot, especially how much it effects the post side of productions, more on that later.
