Guo Cheng is 5'11" (180cm) and Zheng Fanxing is 5'9" (175cm) and in some shots Jingyi and Sizhui look around the same height but in a few others I saw earlier today they somehow look like they have a six inch (15cm) height difference or more.

This got me thinking about personal headcanons for height and I think I've settled on the following for their teen (immediately post-wwx-resurrection) and adult (5-10 years later) heights:

Lan Jingyi: 5'10" (177cm) as a teen, got a last major growth spurt that had him bedridden and begging Sizhui to take a rolling pin to the backs of his legs, has stretch marks that look like whipping scars, wound up 6'3" (191cm)

Ouyang Zizhen: 5'9" (175cm) as a teen, didn't have another growth spurt but did continue growing slowly and steadily, wound up 5'11" (180cm)

Jin Ling: 5'3" (160cm) as a teen (remember, immediately post-wwx-resurrection he's 3 years younger than the others), shot up like a weed, faster than Zizhen but not as bad as Jingyi, wound up a respectably average 5'8" (173cm) but retained all the energy of a half-feral rabid chihuahua from being the shortest once upon a time and the youngest forever

Lan Sizhui: 5'4" (163cm) as both a teen and an adult, did not continue growing at all, partially due to malnourishment as a young child, partially due to genetics, portable-sized and the others enjoy picking him up for absolutely no reason at all, seen that post about the 30yo and the helpful flight attendant? Sizhui

I know people ignore this every time I say it, but I do not care if this is contradicted by canon/word of god/what have you. These headcanons spark joy for me and I'm sticking by them ymmv

((Okay, here’s the deal, based on @kokoronbain & @lm3poltergeist‘s post, plus the official Mario height chart (comparisons only, no numbers), plus a Blank Character Height Chart, plus my calculations based on the standard elevator door, um... we get this. This post is a work-in-progress, and I plan on coming back to it and typing out everyone’s height... eventually.

I just wanted to get this out there for people to see.))

Hellen Gravely: When Hellen’s hair is hanging back slightly in game, she stands at exactly 80 inches tall, the same height exactly as the standard elevator doorway. That is what all these measurements are based on… unfortunately, while T-posing, her hair isn’t bent back, so in this image, instead of 5′1″ she’s 4′9″. I could have adjusted for it, but everyone already seemed so huge, I figured, why bother?

Phantasmagloria: She appears to be 6′4″ at the top of her wig, and 5′1″ at the top of her head

Steward: When stretched all the way out Steward is 7'10" so… make of that what you will.

Chambrea: Roughly 5′11″ with hair up to 7′4″.

Kruller: With his hat, he’s just barely shy of 10′10″

Johnny: 9′4″

Amadeus: 9′6″

Clem: 6′5″

MacFrights: is a stout 4′0″ or 4′9″ up to the tip of his crown.

Potter: Stands at a stunning 7′8″ or 6′10″ once he’s been deflowered, and down to 6′1″ when he’s lost his hat.

Soulfflé: 6′3″ but his hat extends up to 7′11″

Serpci: 8′11″

Ug: 6′1″

Morty: 6′7″

Nolofinwean heightcanons

Fingolfin = very tall, like Indis. Significantly taller than Fëanor

Anairë = very small and dainty, it's all the dancing she does

Fingon = very short but very strong, he is beefier than he looks

Turgon = almost as tall as Maedhros, which annoys him. (Related: Fingon loves it when Mae picks him up and carries him around. Turgon tried to do this once and almost got his eyes clawed out. He doesn't know what he did wrong, just that Fingon prefers Mae to him, which makes him sad, why won't his bro love him, does he wish he was Mae's bro instead...and then one day he sees Mae giving Fingon A Look and drunk!Fingon all but draping himself all over Maedhros, and he Realizes. As much as he hates Mae and Fingon together, he is comforted to know that Fingon was never trying to replace him, that Fingon loves his little bro a lot even though Turno is technically the bigger of the two)

Aredhel = short but still taller than Fingon. Acts taller than she is and pulls it off, somehow. She hangs out with Celegorm (a few inches shorter than Mae but much beefier) and Curufin (slightly smaller carbon copy of Fëanor and the smallest of the Finwëans who isn't a Literal Child) and balances out their heights

Argon = as tall as Maedhros exactly, but he's Baby so people think Mae is taller (Mae also has floofier hair)

Elenwë = average height

Idril = tall but not obscenely so like her dad, looks a lot like grandma Indis

Eöl = on the shorter side but not as short as Aredhel

Maeglin = same height as Fingon, not that they were ever in the same room to measure... But sometimes Turgon sees him walking down the hallway and he mistakes Maeglin for his older brother... Especially after Fingon dies :( anyway, Maeglin is tiny, which pisses him off, especially when Tuor comes around

Tuor = tall for a mortal man, so about average elf height. He's significantly taller than Maeglin, but Idril is significantly taller than him (which he loves)

Eärendil = somehow the completely average height for both elves and mortals, splitting the difference between "a little taller than normal" for humans and "a little shorter than normal" for elves

Bonus: Elwing = very tall, even for an elf (it's the Maia in her)

Bc ive done one for the other branches of the Finwëan line: Arafinwean height headcanons

Finarfin: short and the only shortie in the whole family who doesn't have a complex about it. Still taller than Fëanor. He's on the thinner side.

Eärwen: this woman is Thingol's niece, she is quite tall, but not obscenely so. She's much bigger than her husband and he loves it

Finrod: the same height as his dad, they have all kinds of great jokes about it. He and Turgon (who is 2nd tallest in the house of Finwë) make a comic duo when seen together.

Angrod: a tiny bit taller than his mom, but where she's got fat he's got muscle. The beefiest of the house of Finwë. He's the only one of his siblings who has his mom's silver hair.

Aegnor: an inch or so taller than Angrod, his spiky hair makes him look even taller, well defined but not as chiseled, definitely has a vibe like he's got his head in the clouds

Galadriel: just a bit taller than Aegnor, if you ignore his hair (she and her siblings are each consecutively taller than each other). Her hair is butt length or longer

Eldalótë: a Noldorin woman that Angrod met in Tirion; she's average height but has lighter colored hair than most Noldor, a soft brown instead of very dark

Orodreth: in between Angrod and Finrod in height, he has gold hair but it's a softer yellow than the rest of his family, in facial features he takes more after Mama Eldalótë than his dad

Finduilas: inherited the golden Arafinwean hair but her Sinda mama's height; she's a little bit shorter than average (about the same height as Túrin, who is tall for a mortal man)

Gil-galad: short, which people assume is from Finarfin, and dark-haired, which people assume is from his Sinda mama. They're wrong - if any elves besides Finrod and Aegnor (and briefly Orodreth) had met Andreth, they would be astonished at how much he takes after his mother. He's got Aegnor's eyes, though, which Orodreth shares, and thankfully his ears also

Celeborn: quite tall but not as tall as Galadriel

Celebrían: tall like both her parents, definitely taller than Elrond, she's got her dad's hair. Arwen takes after Elrond and Lúthien's line, but the twins are Celebrían's spitting image, except for the color of their hair

How tall are all the Palomas?

Good question! Sometimes I don't think it but the sizes are really important, specially for comparing with others.

I already show the heightcanons of the original and fell one but not the rest. I really reflexed on how I see them between Palomas and here officially their sizes!

Nota Bene = Since I am french, I use the meters but I know that in english we use the feet so thanks to internet I converted the meters in feet. Hope it's correct!

((Do you young’uns remember back to three whole years ago, back to the direct where they finally revealed the successor to the Wii U along with footage of a then untitled Mario game? Well, whatever your answer was, the main point was that the New Donk citizens were a hot topic for quite a while. To make a long story short, Mario was then determined to be 30 inches tall on account of being the exact same height as a fire hydrant.

Well, I determined that. Much of the fandom, however still uses his preposterous ‘canon’ height of 5′1″... but why? Anyway, that’s not my problem. Fast forward to October of last year, or whenever the trailer with this scene was released and Mario appears to have had his height adjusted yet again. Recently either he’s been getting taller, or Peach has been getting shorter... which is a trend I’ve also commented on.

Hellen Gravely’s beehive reaches the top of what I can only assume is a standard sized elevator door, which is 80 inches. That makes her 5ft 1in tall and her hair extends to 6ft 8in... when ‘standing.’ Since Mario and Luigi’s heights now match up with Sonic (who is canonically 3′3″), I am inclined to believe this scale is accurate. At any rate, this is going to be my new standard for Marioverse measurements, and I would encourage others to use it too.
