I heard Allison Russell for the first time during Farm Aid on Saturday. I’m also seeing others in my community with a similar message, speaking up and protecting future generations.

One of my favorite parts of the article is when she tells her 8-year-old daughter "the buck stopped with me. The intergenerational abuse stopped with me. It's never going to touch you."

Speaking about her album, Outside Child, she said, "There's a story of intergenerational trauma. But there's also a story of intergenerational resilience and strength and ability to survive. I wanted to amplify and uplift that."

Grand rising beloveds it’s been a min but no worries I’m right on time. Please keep in mind that all that we do and experience is already written, how you choose to let the experience effect your being is completely based on your unconscious and conscious mental. We must also keep in mind that others are going on a intimate journey of their own just like us, we have to stop taking things people do “to us” so personally because in fact those things aren’t done to us unless we choose to unconsciously take on that burden. We must allow things to flow naturally so that no one uses unnecessary energy for something that was gonna happen regardless of the fact. We become to invested in results from others that we neglect the present moment for ourselves. Everyone is traveling this road full of experiences and depending on your perspective ups and downs. I say depending on because life is always full of ups because even what appears to be a down is a learning experience that you will either learn right away or may have to experience a few times more either way it’s still a up, “when it’s up then it’s stuck” keep that in mind, work on not taking things so personally and understand that we all are here for a reason and must meet people where they currently are if you choose to exist with them, we can’t think everyone will be like us or be where we are it’s not realistic. Stop suffering and start living. Be blessed and have a beautiful day!

Why do I suffer more than most it feels?

SELFISHNESS

So I had coffee yesterday, but I was helping my friend make her website. Didn’t have much time to type so double post today. Today’s topic is selfishness. 

It’s okay to be selfish. But only within reason. Only thinking about yourself is f*cked up. Now this has nothing to do with me taking time to help my friend yesterday, I love all my friends and I’ll do anything for them. I had a great time helping her and spending time with her. This is about putting yourself on the back burner. 

We’ve all been in those situations where it’s not the best thing for you, but it helps the other person and the inconvenience is only slight. Emphasis on “slight”. Well all those slight inconveniences add up, and now you’re in a bad spot. DO NOT DO THAT! I have a heart of gold, and when I tell you I’ve sacrificed so much for others that is an understatement. Do what you need to do for you. Unapologetically. 

Say no, go a different route, don’t answer that call. Please, worry about yourself for once. It’s completely fine to stop helping everyone.
